Does this site have a registry? A place where members can list their rigs with a short history, VIN, etc?

I'm looking at one on a CL ad. The ad looks fishy (so it probably is) but it does list a VIN. It would be nice to compare it to other known valid rigs to see if the VIN belongs to someone here.
