Re: Another sway-bar post...
This isn’t really spelled out, but a rear sway bar can not be installed on a 97-99 B190 without heavy modification to the fresh water tank

Re: 1997 B190 Leakey fresh water fill hose
I just had to do this repair myself. Instead of taking out cabinets to reach the fresh water inlet, you can remove the outside panel held by 4 screws and remove the clamped hose from there. A LOT easier than removing cabinets etc. to access it from the inside. I learned this the hard way.

Re: Rear wheel spacers vs. wider rear wheels
Thanks for the reply GJCamper! My tires are about the same age as yours. Even though they look new, dryrot is starting to show and with a pretty big trip coming up in a couple months I'm not going to chance it. Not looking forward to the affects on my wallet- but it's gotta be done. I'm about to put...

Re: Rear wheel spacers vs. wider rear wheels
Not really getting any bites on my question. After a lot of reading up on the pros & cons of the wheel spacers I'm pretty sure I'm not going that route for safety reasons. I'm ready to order new wheels so I'm hoping someone can lend their advice before I pull the trigger. I'd really like to even...

Re: Rear wheel spacers vs. wider rear wheels
Also, another thing worth bringing up that I read on another forum- "If you run your van heavily loaded, avoid the spacers. On another forum, loaded camper vans have experienced axle failures with spacers. Moving the wheels out increases the load on the axle and increases the chances of failure...

Rear wheel spacers vs. wider rear wheels
I'm about to purchase after market wheels and get new tires (BFG All Terrain KO2- 265/75/16) and would like to even out the wheel tracking as the rear axle is a little more narrow than the front. In theory, by having the rear wheel track that much narrower than the front you would catch different pa...

Will shore power work if house battery is completely dead?
I'm sure this is a rookie question but I've looked through the forums and couldn't find a similar issue. I've had my b190 (1999) for about a month now and I could tell from the beginning that the house battery was going to need replacing because the interior lights were dim and wouldn't last long ev...

Stopping those pesky leaks
I was having issues with a small leak coming through my overhead window seal and was well on it's way to causing a lot of future headaches. I was prepared to take my rig into a shop to have all of my windows resealed before I found this product called Captain Tolley's . I read a lot of positive revi...

Re: 1999 Flooring question
Oh wow! Thanks Chris. You did a damn good job man! Those photos have definitely provided inspiration towards my project. Did you put any insulation down between the subfloor and the floor of the van? If not, have you noticed any difference in road noise or having any issues with heating or cooling? ...

1999 Flooring question
I have 1999 and was planning on replacing the carpet with stick-on laminate flooring this weekend. I decided that instead of gutting the entire interior, I would just cut the carpet around the cabinets, bench, etc. and glue the new flooring on top of the subfloor. Easy enough right? I assumed that t...

Re: restoring luster to fiberglass top
After spending 3 hours washing and waxing my rig top to bottom, I realized that I didn't hate myself enough just yet and decided to try this petroleum jelly trick. Wow! what a difference! Before, my top had a strong contrast to the body and didn't realize that it was just heavily oxidized..now it's ...

1996 for $9000 in rockport, mo
I almost went up and looked at this a couple months ago. I can’t believe she hasn’t sold it yet.
1996 for $9000 in pretty good shape. I ran the carfax and came back clean
