Re: User manual / checklist?
In case anyone is interested, I put together a "user manual" for people for the B190. It can be used as a checklist but it is a bit more in-depth as well, in order to educate people I may rent or loan the "Wild Hair" to. The full text is here, because I couldn;t figure out how to...

Re: Airstream B190 brochures and manuals
Thanks a million Skater! Maybe my fridge will work after all! I will try the propane, but that'll only work when it's level right? How level does it need to be? So, what I'm reading from you is; Driving; 12V for minimal cooling, or generator for 120V if I really need it "cold" Parked; Whie...

Re: Refrigerator lighting up but not cooling
On the fridges if your fridge is on the right and the front of the B is over 20*+ tilt, the fridge will not work correctly. Same with it on the left but it would be the rear down. You need to get the vehicle level and let the fridge sit off for 8 hours to allow the liquid to settle back where it be...

Re: Airstream B190 brochures and manuals
I'm working on a basic operations manual for driving, parking, and camping, so I can lend her out with an easier mind and confidence that people will know how to treat her right. :-). I will share with the group once the 1st draft is finished, and ask for advice on editing. First question that I do ...

Re: Beware of Scammers
Found this scam listed both on Facebook B190 group and in this one. I emailed the seller, who replied for me to send her my full name and address so she could give it to EBay who was holding the van and would deliver it to me for a 5 day trial after payment. I called EBay and they said they do no su...

Re: Generator starting issues
Update on the generator starting issue: There's an "altitude adjustment" dial under the carburator. I drove her from 6000 ft. down to 80 ft. where I live. Turned the dial to "0" and it started right up! :-D There was also either previous or prospective rodent trying to set up hou...

Re: New here, and looking at buying a 96 B190... Advice anyone?
Thanks everyone, but it looks like this turned it to be a scam. "Terri" demanded cash only, and when I texted I could get it if everything checks out but would not bring it, she text replied "Sold!". The add went down, but is back up today. I asked by text today if her deal went...

Generator starting issues
Hi All, I just bought a B190 and can't get the generator to start. It started and ran, (but with an initial backfire), when I checked it out at LakeTahoe, (elevation 6000 ft.). I restarted it up there and ran it with AC on as well. It sputtered a bit periodically with AC on though up there. Now I've...

Hi Mike, I just bought a B190 and can't get the generator to start. It started and ran, but with an initial backfire, when I checked it out in South lake Tahoe. I restarted it up there and ran it with AC on as well. It sputtered a bit periodically with AC on though. Now I've driven it down to sea le...
