Re: Post-Covid Suspension - A summary

The Bilstein shocks should be the 33s. The 24s are for a regular e350 van not our monsters. The 7183 sway bar supposedly fits 1989-2014 models so that should work. I believe the front sway bar is an upgrade from the existing one. Haven’t done any other upgrades but those two things made my 92 practi...

Stove Vent Flap

I think I’ve finally solved my constantly breaking stove vent flap problem. As you’re all aware, the plastic pins that hold the flap in place break off very easily. I’ve replaced mine four times then gave up. But I found a metal flap for 15 bucks that will hopefully solve the problem. http://liftwit...

Re: 60 day member-New owner of a B190

After 2 months of learning all I could about the Airstream B190 & hours of searching ads on the internet, I have finally purchased my very own Airstream B190. I am over the moon excited! Earlier this month, I flew out to Columbus, Ohio and returned home to Seattle with my new 1994 Airstream B19...

Re: restoring luster to fiberglass top

For a simple way to restore the color and luster of your oxidized fiberglass top, try this..... Wipe petroleum jelly on the surface using the scrubby side if a household sponge. You will see the oxidation (white) disappear as you sponge on the jelly. Rub off and buff the excess with a towel. You wi...

Re: New B190 Owner

Hi! I've been lurking on this site for a couple years and I finally saved enough to buy my B190. I bought it sight unseen at an out-of-state auction so I was definitely rolling the dice, but I think I did alright. It's a 1999 with 80k miles on it and I'm the second owner. I'm planning on full-timin...

I'd love to find one on the side door too, but I haven't looked yet. Chris, did yours have one on the side door to beginn with? Sent from my Moto G Play us...

Re: Opening and closing the awning

When I take the camper in for a repair and I see them leaving the side door open for long periods of time I start to cringe. Thanks for the info about taking the bulb out. Perhaps, a screen room outside the camper not depending on leaving the door open at all of I planned on camping in an area for ...
