I ordered 21 ft of each size of the black window molding for all the slider windows from Interstate RV Metal and Supply in OR. The product is absolute crap! Part #'s are 009-842 and 009-344. It is CHEAP vinyl, will not allow curvature at the window corners without severe bulging and gaping. It is so...

4 questions as I prepare to redo all sliding windows on my 94 1-is 21 feet of each 009-842 and 009-344 not an excessive amount of glazing to redo the windows? 2-how do I remove the glass from the butyl without damaging either the glass or the frame? 3-do you have to remove the entire window assembly...

I replaced mine in my 94 last year. After removing the floor of the closet, it was a pretty straight forward exchange as noted by others in this post. After checking around I purchased mine directly from Airstream in Jackson Center OH for the same price as I found elsewhere. Giving them the year etc...
