I'd look at replacing or improving the gaskets for the doors. Also, I would sometimes take a towel and stuff it in the step well by the side door. You might have to downshift and go slower, but I'm sure you'd get there. That said, if you're going to be scaling hills frequently, you're probably going to wish you had the 460 or V10.

I suspect it's probably okay alone. Towing would probably be slow.

In mine the generator cranks off the coach battery. She should be able to start the engine then start the generator - that's what I had to do when I'd let the coach battery drain too far to start the generator.

The first of these cable goes to your converter panel under the couch. The second goes directly to the generator, for starting the generator.
