what now

Congrats on becoming a B190 owner !! It does have a lot of miles on it, but its a truck which will last forever if taken care of. If you have the 460 engine, which I think you do, its practicly bullet proof. Check it out on the drive home. It may need shocks. I would change the oil with a good grade...

I had a rocker switch go bad in my 95 B 190 van system monitor panel. I wrote to the manufacture and they did not even have the courtesy to respond on buying parts, the switch in particular. I was able to find one in an electronic salvage and junk parts place. I have further done some research and t...

I had new ball joints and HD shocks installed recently and I am now having steering issues similar to yours and others. It was perfect before the work was done. I have had it to the Ford dealer twice for front end allignment with pretty much the same results. I notice that you had alterain tires put...

My 1995 came with a table but the storage became a problem so we ended up not using it. Instead we have a very large wooden cutting board that just fits on top of the stove. We covered the bottom of the board with that rubberized non slip material so that it stays in place while traveling. We use th...

I have a 1995 B190. I installed Brigestone tires E rated back in 2003. I have been all over this country putting 32,000 plus miles on them with no problems. They still look great with no cracking on the side walls. I do keep tire covers on them when it is in storage and treat them with amourall tire...

I purchased my 95 B190 used and it has a through the glass CB ant installed on the upper passenger side window of the cab over. I do not know if it was factory or dealer installed. I have the original sales invoice for the unit and the original owner paid extra to have the CB added before delivery. ...

rear platforms

The regular or standard platform that fits into the rear 2" trailer hitch receiver works very well but does require a modification known as a "Z" bar to raise it up a few inches or it may drag on certain occasions. I think the swing away would be a great feature to allow access to the...

fuel tank guage

Many Ford products with duel tanks have had similar problems. Before you go to the trouble to remove that tank, CHECK THE GROUND CIRCUITS TO THE TANKS AND THE SWITCH. I had this problem on another Ford motor home and it was a fix. Also check the internet for more info on this problem. Ford gas tank ...

As far as your dash air is concerned, you can convert from an R 12 system to an R 134a system. I had my car switched over several years ago and it works great. You can buy the kit to do it for about $35, but don't do it yourself , because the system needs to be evacuated and tested for leaks. I had ...

broken awning support

The Horizon awnings as installed on our B190's were sold by A7E (Dometic) but manufactured by Fiamma. The A&E part numbers are not the same as Fiamma. Trust me I have been through this before with A&E. Besides Fiamma parts are cheaper and fit perfectly. Any how I need to order the same awnin...
