Re: New Member Jersey747 intro
Hello Paul, Welcome to the site and congrats on your recent acquisition! Yes, these vehicles are a labor of love, but well worth the effort to keep them out adventuring! Over the years since we purchased our B190 we have collected and built up an operators manual that is now about four inches thick ...

Re: Refurbishing the Hehr windows
One easy thing to check on the Hehr windows... From the outside of the B190, at the bottom of the aluminum window frame, you will notice two elongated slits. Those are water drains. Any water that gets past the rubber seals drains into the channel in the aluminum frame behind those slits. If they ge...

Refurbishing the Hehr windows
A few weeks back we were out camping and had a heavy blowing rain on the driver’s side of our B190. In the morning I noticed a small water puddle on the inside frame of the window above the couch. I just completed refurbishing that window and thought I would pass along what I did in case any of you ...

Re: Meet our pets
We recently were getting ready for a long road trip and my wife was wondering about a way to let the dog be up front to see out the windows without either dog or wife being uncomfortable with hours of a dog in her lap. My wife came up with this concept... We made this pet hammock/shelf out of hardwa...

Re: SOLAR OPTIONS
Nandi- Here is a link to a recent thread discussing batteries and solar. I'm not sure if you saw it or not. Also I recommend that you search B190.com for the terms "solar" and "battery" and you'll find several more discussion threads which you may find helpful. http://b190.com/vi...

Re: SOLAR OPTIONS
Nandi- I can appreciate you not wanting to get too complex. However, I recommend that you carefully read the specs of the solar panel that you are considering. Yes, technically you can install a low power 12volt solar panel directly to the battery. I use a 12 volt 5 watt solar panel directly on my t...

Re: interior modifications
Some time back I removed the factory toilet in my '93 during the process of replacing it with a new model. The removal process was pretty simple. In your case, you plan to remove the toilet and not replace it. How to seal the hole in the floor where the toilet was and what to use for flooring are pr...

Re: Accessing water pump
Thank you for the model number and your observation that the size seems to be adequate. I really like the idea of eliminating some of the on/off cycles of the pump when the water is set to a low flow rate. Its a double win... reduces the cycle noise and doesn't hit the coach battery as often.

Re: Accessing water pump
Micabarry- Thank you for posting the note about your SurFlo Accumulator Tank. I was not aware of that piece of hardware. I just read up on them at SurFlo's website. Sounds interesting. We may want to add that to our update list! I see that SurFlo offers a variety of sizes. Do you remember what size ...

Re: Accessing water pump
To access the water pump in our 1993, you remove the floor of the closet.
