Re: A sad goodbye
In response to the info on the tires, as well as someone interested in the awning. The accident happened in GA, close to the Alabama state line. We are back at home, on the coast of North Carolina. The camper is now in the hands of Allstate Insurance Company. We have no way of getting the date codes...

Re: A sad goodbye
It was a BACK tire, not the front. Thanks for the info on blowouts and what to do...I did read an article like that the day after the incident. Unfortunately I had NO control over the vehicle. Suddenly it began to sway from the top, from right to left, and back...the second sway was much bigger..the...

Re: Engine Fire with B-190
I wanted to make a comment about removing smoke damage. My husband & I are American Red Cross Disaster Services Volunteers, as well as 190b owners. Most of the assistance we provide is at house and apartment fire scenes. The Red Cross has a booklet we give out to the families, with detailed info...

A sad goodbye
We planned for years to take the big trip...to see the USA in our 1993 B190. We left our home in North Carolina on Monday 5-18-2015. On Tuesday 5-19-2015 we were on Interstate 85, 40 miles south of Atlanta on our way southwest. The 6 lane highway was full of traffic, mostly big rig trucks, all trave...

Re: Traveling across the entire USA.
We were concerned due to our COSTCO says they can't fill our tank because the hose they have is not long enough to reach it. We assumed other providers may say the same thing.

Re: Cabinet Door Latches (Southco Grabber Catch)
Five years of pulling to open doors and drawers! Lighter latches would be a problem, as they could open when traveling!! Solved the problem with bin pulls and cabinet knobs. They look great and make it so much easier to open and pull. We added two to the bed pull out as well. You can find good price...

Traveling across the entire USA.
We have had our 190b for 5 years, using it for short camping trips with our grand children and a place to stay when visiting family. In a few weeks we plan the BIG trip. North Carolina to Texas, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, and return to North Carolina. We are welcome to an...

Re: Replacing the carpet
Carpeting in a camper is a real pain!! Also we have allergies, so carpet is bad! We pulled it all up and replaced it with peel and stick tiles of a wood parquet pattern. It looks very nice, is easy to sweep and wash. We did find that the floor was very cold on our first trip in cool weather. We foun...

Re: How many sets of seat belts under bench seating?
Our 190b is a 1993. We had two seat belts, but easily were able to add one more to accommodate our grandchildren.

Need to connect the "internal" propane tank
Thanks for your quick reply...I have to comment...as my dear Grandmother was from York, PA. The family cemetary is in Adamstown. Now to the propane issue. You took the time to send me a link to the adapter to add a second appliance to use the some tank in an "external" application! We had ...

Propane line splitter
Does anyone know of a way to add a splitter to the propane tank so we do not need to carry a portable tank? We often use a large standing propane burner to cook for our family. In South Carolina a seafood boil is popular. A portable grill could also connect to it when in use.

Wood look 25 year floor tile
We purchased a 1993 "b190" in September, 2007. The carpet was awful and even worse to care for when we were camping! We wanted to keep the wood look so we found 25 year 12X12 vinyl tiles at Lowes in a box of 20. The box says that it is the look of classic inlaid wood. (parquet flooring) Lo...

Does anyone recommend an RV book?
We see that there are many books available for new RV'ers. We are experienced campers, but this is our first motor home. This is a list of books we have seen. Are any of them worth spending the money? 1. The Rv Handbook: Essential How-To Guide for . . . Buy New ($23.36) Author(s): Estes, Bill / 3rd ...
