I had a 91 with that same problem on the rear tank. fuel pump was faulty. Pain to replace, as tank must be dropped and filler inlet unhooked, along with various tubing connections and electric. Do you have the factory wiring manual? Might be able to troubleshoot with that. Is the same fuse used on b...

Skater

This is a bummer for us remaining B190 folks. But, do enjoy your new rig. At least it's and Airstream, so you will be somewhat familiar with how to maintain it.

High Center Stop LIght

For those of you with 1989 thought at least 1993 models, I think this is the unit that Airstream used. Until recently you could not buy direct, but looks like now you can. Both my 1991 and 1993 had really deteriorated, with broken plastic screw bosses and broken off bulb holders on the 1991. I just ...

Strange Door Jamb Switch Failure - 1993 B190

When we recently bought this 1993 B190, the door courtesy lights would not go out. Today I finally got around to de-bugging the problem. I started at the back door switch, and it was okay. Next I removed the side door switch, and noticed it did not protrude as far as the rear door switch, which was ...

I agree Skater, but if the van already has the Ford system, all you need is the Fob, which still might cost more than an aftermarket system. But, there are a lot of nice built in features if you do have the Ford system.

Installing house battery under sofa - 1993 - with slide out

Thought you might like to see how I solved the access problem for the lead acid deep cycle battery under my sofa. There was a battery there when I bought this 190, but it was not sealed. So, for a little under $100, I got a sealed battery box and 10" drawer slides from Amazon.com. The aluminum ...

According to the Ford manual I read for my 1992, you need to give a Ford dealer your VIN, and then they can tell you if it has the module, or originally had remote door lock option. The module is behind the drivers "B" pillar where the sofa back is(behind the paneling), if it is there.

We take 3 dogs in our 190. Currently 2 are smaller and one medium. but we had a small, medium, and large at one time. The large on was at least 75 pounds and had 2 bad hips, so we just helped him up the steps into the unit. Took that crew from MI to TX and back several years ago. The big one slept u...

1993 B190 Ground fault problem I just installed a new converter from Best Converter. Never had the 110 plugged in with the old Megatek unit, so not sure if this is a new problem, or it was there with the old converter. My guess is that is was there with the old unit also. The problem is that the int...

Secrets of the 92-96 Auxiliary Battery Set-Up

I have read all of the great posts in the electrical section and have not seen this issue discussed. Hopefully you will not run into this problem, but if you do, maybe this post will speed up the solution and fix. I recently "upgraded" from a perfectly fine 91 model(except for the rust aro...

Photobucket was very easy to use and upload pictures to. But now I can't figure out how to download from photobucket. Picking browse only lets me pick from files on my computer. Picking ImageShack Toolbar does not seem to let me get to photobucket.

What is next step to download from Photobucket?

Thanks guys for the update. I will have to figure out how to post pictures on a web site, which I have never done. Probably not that bad once you get it figured out. The other forum is at www.porsche356registry.org and as I said in my previous post, it looks very similar to this one in that you can ...

Okay - It's now 2011. Has anything changed regarding adding pictures to a post, or do I still need to post them on a web site host? I use another forum very similar to this one and can add pictures directly from my computer files.

Thanks

Thanks Skater

I did see a Fantastic vent, and the plastic looked similar shape to mine, but could not see the hinge area in the picture. I will give them a call, or order one.

Roof Vent Replacement Cover

93 190 hit by hail storm. Roof vent cover broke off a large piece. Anyone know the brand of cover. There are several replacement covers but none I have seen look like this one. Would I be better off replacing the complete assembly?

Thanks

ps - unable, or don't know how to upload image.
