Yikes....that much water damage had to have been created by more than just that upper rear brake
light leaking

What a big project you've taken on there....good luck

Good to see an ole B190 being returned to service rather than just simply deteriorating away...

yep....that is certainly an option.

perhaps you could remove that cross-threaded fitting, detail it and the threads in the tanks and re-install it when perfectly dry using either some sealer or thread-tape...

yep....that window installation material is the same...usually it works very well if installed correctly. Its made for 1/4" fiberglass and 3/16" think window glass.... I suspect thats not the case with your rig, which means that second piece will not tighten against the fiberglass and wind...

yep...its a lot easier to deal with and It won't get knocked off that way either...

Also....if ya noticed I put a small brass garden-hose fitting on the gray water discharge.

Thats for draining that tank with a very short section of hose..."anywhere' if ya know what I mean... !

On the Airstream that front window is installed with a two-piece rubber that was very common for years in the boat/marine industry. The rubber is assembled around the opening (the fiberglass) and then the glass is set in from the front side. The final set is to install the second part of the rubber ...
