At some point Airstream started putting a hole in the floor of the generator compartment that lined up with the drain plug in the generator so you could easily slide under and drain the gen oil....but not in 1991.... the 96 I got from Joe had it In the 97 and later rigs there is a storage bay below ...

nope.....never seen or heard of a cooling fan in the rear of the frig from Airstream.. Its a good idea btw as that hot air needs to escape to allow the frig to work properly. Robert ..... create a folder in your My Documents using MS Works of Word Title it sometime like "Airstream Posts".... You'll simply be able to open that and copy & paste anything you chose out of the forums here and install them into that folder... For easy access to that folder insta...

Its seldom that easy....usually you'll find the existing caulking all crinkled up and in need of removal. Best way is the remove all the old crap and start over.... The best sealer btw is 3M 5200, widely use in the marine industry...can be found at Ace Hardware.... not the cheapest but it will last ...

If you notice in your Profile there is a box where you can have whats referred to as a Signature ... What you install there will show at the bottom of all your forum posts... If you add a Signature be sure to look above that box and move the green dot to Yes where it says " Always attach my sig...

What you're looking at here is a Camping World Surge Protector. Between the boxes... I lopped the plug ends off and installed it between 2 electrical boxes so its mounted inside the rig rather than clear out on the other end of the power cord as an accessory... Its also passes through a little marin...

That sounds about right as that piece that mounts in the rig is from Marinco and shows $59 & the cord end is $29...

There might be some less costly pieces that will do the same...

RJ.... look on Ebay for those items at less that list.
