Well, my power steering cooler has started leaking, and as I look... it appears to be bolted to the bottom of the engine-frame support under the front of the van. It's pretty rotted, and needs to be replaced.
Here's a photo of it, taken from under the rear bumper, looking aft:
The ford dealer says they have none in stock, and they provided me with part number: FOUZ-3D746-A. However when I contacted a warehouse with that NOS part in stock... they provided photos that look totally different. And a ebay search shows this listing which is absolutely NOT the same part.
So, did a previous owner change it out for a universal cooler? Is this what your power steering coolers look like? Anyone know a way to find a drop-in replacement? I'd rather change out two hose-clamps instead of re-engineering the cooling radiator location and lines...
