Hi Jonny,
Don't know what year your van is, but I can say that the new fuel pump has fixed my 1994's stalling problems. I hope you have similar success. Let us know!
Best of luck,
Keystone

Re: The 94 460 Fuel Pump Problem
New fuel pump installed in my '92. We took the couch out and went through the floor rather than drop the tank. Was a piece of cake. Had to cut the wood panel that is the face below the couch in half, but a piece of scribe stolen from the under sink shelf went right over it for a perfect patch.
Drove around in the city on side streets nice and slow for an hour with very little gas in the tank and no problems at all. I'm tentatively calling it fixed, as it would start coughing within 20 minutes the day before the new pump.
Side note: if you think you have the vapor lock issue, drive till it starts sputtering and quickly pull over and take your gas cap off. There was enormous pressure in mine when it was acting up. Not a hiss, but a serious rush of air. Way more than normal.
