Howdy from Poughkeepsie, NY ;-)

Hi there folks ;-) Well I'm finally ready to bury my Volkswagen Westfalia/Eurovan upbringing. Deep down my father would have wanted it this way ;-) I learned the most colorful parts of the English language while helping him keep our campers running. He said if I had to do it all over again.... Ford platform would be a must. Obviously late model RVs need tinkering but the two Volkswagons we had were egregious in basic maintenance to keep going. Moving forward....The bride and 8 year old son are fond of the pop-top or over cab bunk for our weekend/vacation needs. After researching/looking at Sportsmobile, Coachman, Falcon, Intervec and Great Western Vans, we really liked the Airstream B190 beaters we personally saw and details extracted from this great forum. To add I have a great Ford shop down the street for upkeep. So I'm in the market. No rush but ready to move forward at any time for the right opportunity. I'll post in the wanted section too but wish list is 1997 to 1999 due to the brides input on the bathroom set up but ok with 1995 and 1996. We'll likely be towing a small boat, car or trailer depending on the adventure at hand. Looking forward to contributing to the forum ;-)
