Interesting, I just noticed today that mine was bad too (my first clue was the big puddle of gas on the ground when I was filling up), and I was just looking around the internet for info on them. Keep me posted on what you find out.

We found out about this problem on our first fill up july 08.Ford dealer in our small town had the parts,so we had them fix it.Fuel hose,114.47,vent hose,54.98.Labor,158.00.I do alot of repairs on the 190,but im glad i didnt try this one.I think you need to drop the tank to do repair, and my tank was full!

I replaced mine- $18 and change for 12 inches of hose and two hose clamps from carquest- I really only needed 11 inches. I just used straight hose, and cut the end on the tank at a bit of an angle- works fine. Took about half an hour to change the hose out, didn't have to drop the tank. As long as you can get a socket or screwdriver onto the hose clamp on the tank, you shouldn't have to drop the tank.
