Looking for California owners
I did not notice but we are asking the same question. I think I inquired on your B190 last week although was told: NO OUT OF STATE SALES!! Oh well no big I found a nice one with 42k on the clock.
I have just heard DMV only gets a bit sketchy when the vehicle is new or has extremely low miles.
Otherwise it is not an issue to buy out of state and/or bring your car to Ca.
They could not tell you to leave your Toyota in Kansas B 4 you move to Ca!!
They dont want people trying to beat sales tax buying out of state using documents stateing lesser values paid. Seems surrounding states are doing this to get Ca buisness... This was said by a Ca. DMV person.
