Just bought one of these for my rigs. It'll arrive next week and I'll get to test it out on my upcoming two month trip to Colorado and Yosemite.

Here the "review" I found of it that caused me to eventually buy it.

I am drawn to the concept of being able to park the B190 under a shade tree, to keep it cool, and then setup a portable solar panel where the sun is shining. I think there are definate merits to this approach.

They have a quick connect fitting that is permanently attached to the battery and mounts on the outside of the rig. I bought that and an additional 15 foot cord. I figure I can do exactly what you mention, Kentuckian, park in the shade and place the panel in the sun.

They recommended that to me for situations where you are may be camping in the trees and can move the panel around into a spot of sun.
