Running the rooftop a/c while driving?

Post by Sector9surf »

Is it possible to do this if I were to put lug it into an inverter?

Would the alternator keep up?

You'd need a huge inverter - 2500 watts or something. I doubt the alternator would be able to keep up.

Better solution: If you have the on-board Onan generator, just use it. I used to do this all the time during warm weather.
