Waterhound,
Did you buy the non-running B190?

Re: Engine Fire with B-190

Very sad story, but I'm glad the owners were not hurt. I know this van could have been fixed, but it is a lot of work. The best approach is to find a 1991 Ford E350 van with a 460 and buy it as a donor van. The second best would be to find a 1991 E350 at a junk yard. Then pull the engine on the B190...

Atwood furnace vents

I believe we all have Atwood furnaces in our B190's. They have a light brown metal grill on the front of the cabinet. When I ran my furnace, it was blowing hot air through that grill as well as the other plumbed vents. Is this normal?

Re: Replacing waste tank in a 1997 B190

I agree, I'd like to get rid of the ducting to keep things simple. I'm just not sure if I should enclose the tank or how to mount it. Maybe I ban make a wooden box for it.

Re: Replacing waste tank in a 1997 B190

That's what I expected, for it to be inside. Here's what I found, the fresh on a 1997 is behind the rear axle but before the next crossmember going back. Then behind that crossmember, is the gray water tank. The black tank is inside under the toilet inside a cavity that's under that big one peice fi...

Possible to rebuild carburetor?

Hello everyone,
I have a 1997 B190 which may need attention to the genset carburetor. Are there rebuild kits for these or does Onan force you to replace the whole carburetor?

Thansk in advance.

Re: Replacing waste tank in a 1997 B190

I left their parts department a message.

I took delivery of my 1997 B190 last Thursday! As it turns out, it's the fresh water tank that's missing.

Replacing waste tank in a 1997 B190

I am in the process of buying a 97 B190. The current owner was once driving on a sandy road when the back of the van dragged and busted one of the waste tanks. He doesn't know which tank he damaged, whether gray or black. I think these tanks are heated too. Would these tanks be hard find and replace...

Re: Wider couch base mod possible?

I was hoping to add just 5 inches, which I should end up with 5 inches of overhang over those base cabinets.

I think Airstream really nailed it right with that bathroom redesign of 1997. I haven't seen one in person yet, but ot looks like a good shower setup.

Wider couch base mod possible?

I'm looking to buy a 1997 B190 and I was wondering if the seating surface could be extended to 22" from the current 17" that it currently is. Maybe by welding an extension to the couch...
