Re: Rallies and Other Events?

Well, if the International Rally is ever within a day or two's drive to attend, you should register as soon as the online registration is available and go at least once, to experience it. (The past couple years, the rallies are filling up more rapidly.) Maybe VA isn't close enough next year, but the...

Re: Rallies and Other Events?

Remember the funds collected by WBCCI for this rally are used for two weeks (add in workers week) of building rentals, electric, water, golf cart rentals, entertainer fees, rally gifts, rally ribbons, a couple meals for workers and attendees, printing costs, table and chair rentals, caterers, food, ...

I'm registered for Doswell, too. I'll be with the band.

Re: Rallies and Other Events?

Yes, Doswell is in 2019. My mistake...getting old and forgetful, way too fast! For those of you who are in WBCCI and have never attended the Swiss Festival National Rally held the last week of September in Sugarcreek, Ohio, I invite you to make plans for our 2018 rally. The reservation forms will be...

Re: Rallies and Other Events?

Not going but I am marking my calendar for 2018 in Doswell, VA for International Rally. I did not get to Lewisburg but I did go to Escanaba and played in the band-both as a 1st-timer. I had a blowout just north of Ann Arbor going up to the UP. My 3rd in 12 months... one more tire to go and then I ca...

Re: Anyone happy with pre-97 shower curtain?

I know this is an older message thread, but the original question about the shower curtain was never answered and some Bvan owners/readers might like an answer. The "odd shaped" piece was meant to protect the back door/curtain from getting wet when you sat on the stoop and used the shower ...

Re: Rear View Camera

I had a wireless rear-view camera installed at P&S Airstream in Helena, OH back in 2009 for $50. I think I bought it at Walmart for $79. The adjustable camera eye is located just above my rear license plate and the electrical work/hookups that he needed to do was accessed through unscrewing the ...

I've added a compilation of photos of my '96's propane tank and outside gauges/handles/etc. as a reference to look at in my Gallery (Buckeye).

Re: Rubbing tires...

I rear-ended a slowed/stopped small auto two weeks ago because the Bvan brakes didn't stop/slow me while going less than 30 mph and I slid (hydroplaned?) 4 car lengths. Looking at the front of my vehicle, the only thing that seemed affected was a cracked license plate cover. But when the sheriff ask...

Re: Water coming up through carpet

http://b190.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3341 I discovered a leak this May as I was packing the night before our Region 4 Rally and knelt to open the drawer under the couch to pack food, only to find the carpet pretty wet. I don't think I had done anything except de...

One other thought for 2016 International Rally would be to ask ahead of time for a Bvan parking section.

Re: Rallies and Other Events?

You could set up two rallies in the same timeframe - one for east of the big river and the other for west of the big river. We could Skype from both locations to "meet" the other rally attenders and have discussions of hot topics, share ideas, improvements, etc. Campgrounds or fairgrounds?...

Re: battery needs jumped constantly HELP

I had the same problem with my battery. It went dead suddenly early last week while camped at Coldwater, MI fairgrounds. I got a jump from my traveling companions as we were going to the Michigan State Rally in Ionia (from central Ohio). Knew the Interstate battery was only 16 months old. Knew there...

Re: Cleaning/replacing the air conditioner filters

Just an update to this older thread. Times have changed... I purchased a pair of Dometic air filter replacements last year for $15 - either at Campers World.com or Posts Travel Land, my local Columbus RV store (SKU #9108553372; Serial #31799220). I have a '96 Bvan.
