Thanks for replys. About shops, I've been going to Ford dealer but so far they can't find problem. I'm in Marion, VA. So far I've driven 5000 since 4/1 and the past wk, the problem this past wk has be grounded. It happens on both tanks.

Eng stalling

Not sure where to post this. 1991 ford 351 and Eng stalls while driving it. I wait 15-30 mins it will usually start but not drive far before it happens again. Has been in shop twice and they can't find anything wrong. I'm on x country trip and I'm very frustrated. It has new fuel filter and ignition...

As I was driving, I heard a loud pop and then a hissing noise which seem to be coming from the counter area. Any ideas of cause? Thanks.

Welcome, last month I picked up a 1991 in GA in great condition inside and out and drove it to CA. These units are awesome!

Cold weather

The end of Jan I will be leaving AZ to go to Tahoe for 3 days for a family wedding. I will then be returning to AZ so what will I have to do for that short of time when the temp at night will probably be in the 20's. Will my pipes/ hoses break? The switch is like a rocker switch which turns the heater on and a red lite flashes but goes off. If the light flashes again, it didn't start if I understand it so you hit the switch again. So I was wondering if the heater goes off completely when the water is hot since there is no on/off type switc...

I don't understand the switch for the hot water. I have a 1991 and there is a switch for turning heater on but how do you turn it off?
