wind noise

Any suggestions on how to reduce wind noise when driving? I've realized the noise just makes long drives pretty tiring. Has anyone found a way to reduce the noise at highway speeds? Maybe new gaskets for the front doors or their windows? I have not really tried to figure out where most of it comes f...

pics of new sink

Finally got rid of that original double sink that was so hard to wash large items in. Replaced it with a Whitehaus WHND1913-BSS from Amazon. It fits existing counter top hole even though it is a bit smaller in width. Unfortunately, old sink left some scratch marks around the counter a bit. Had to re...

shower upgrading

I am looking to make improvements to the shower experience but everything is always difficult to fit in an RV. Shower Head: I would like to use the Oxygenics RV Shower head, but the spray head is angled down quite a bit from the handle, so it wouldn't work to mount the bracket on the ceiling like in...

replacement recliner handle for driver seat

For a 98 B190, the handle on the side of the seat that reclines the seat back is broken. I found a label under the chair that said "Lux Company, Elkhart, IN" It has a star shaped attachment point about 7/16" across with about 16 points (kind of like a gear), and a screw that goes in t...

levelling jacks?

Wondering if anyone has installed any kind of levelling jacks on their B190? Manual or electric? I find lots of camp sites just aren't very level. I carry a few pieces of wood around but that is only good for an inch or two. Would be really nice to be able to park in almost any spot and level things...

Re: Generator Removal for 1998 B-190

I've removed my generator for the second and last time and came up with a much easier way to do it. Remove the storage compartment below first, then it is very easy to access oil drain, exhaust and fuel lines, etc. Put some supports under the compartment before unscrewing it, it is heavy. There are ...

Re: Water Tank Fell Off

I looked into this a while ago for my '98. I found that Inca Plastic has a model #117 tank (23 gallons) which I think was the correct replacement, but I haven't ordered one yet.

removing fridge vent

On a recent trip I had rain pouring down into the RV above the fridge, and on returning home found that the roof sealant around the old fridge vent was coming loose. Since I have a compressor fridge, I decided there is really no reason to have a vent anymore. I will build a little ducting at the bac...

Vitrifrigo fridge install

Thought I would share some photo of my fridge install I did about 5 years ago in a '98. Its a Vitrifrigo compressor fridge, model C130 with external compressor unit. Has been working great. Much more space inside than the original fridge. It was a bit deeper than the existing space, so to fix that I...
