Re: Replacement Sink?!?

Yeah, the stainless and large size are on trend, too. Just going to try the faucet and backsplash now, the other stuff in the fall. I’m thinking of either butcher block or marble for the counter. I’ve heard marble remnants aren’t too pricey. Home Depot has butcher block counters in 6’ or 8’ lengths,...

Re: Replacement Sink?!?

Love this idea! I’m in the same boat, 1990 with small sink. I want to tile my backsplash, but have a tall, stiff faucet that butts against it. Would like a bigger sink and faucet with sprayer handle. Also want a new countertop during next wave of renovations, with a counter extension and a hole for ...

Re: My B is weird

First trip was a mixed bag, but overall a success. I just camped at a Walmart, since I am inexperienced camper and campgrounds have gotten so expensive here in CA. I got a lot more comfortable driving the van. My other Car is a Kia Soul and could fit in my B190! Im getting better at getting from bac...

Electrical woes!

What year is your rig? I bought a 1990 in Dec also. Any chance you did a tour on YouTube? Someone in NJ put one up around that time, very informative. I just took mine out for her maiden voyage and couldn’t get the appliances to work. I think maybe the propane is off, but by the time I thought of th...

Re: My B is weird

Yep, I’m in the Inland Empire. Going up to the Bay Area to see where I can urban and not urban boondock. Thanks for locating the vent cover! You must be in so. Cal. Im in the central valley around Modesto. I feel a west coast group camp in the future [emoji106] Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk ...

Re: My B is weird

Thanks Dennis! That’s exactly my plan. Going for a dry run where I went to grad school, since I know my way around and there is a Walmart as a back up camping spot. There is a lake nearby, I’ll check that out. Thinking of trying to meet up with some YouTubers in Havasu, about 3 hours away, so I have...

My B is weird

Some updates: my mechanic previously installed new fuel pumps and disposed of bad gas in rear tank that caused the issue. This week, he installed new tires and two new coach batteries. He had to remove the bunker to get to the one in the rear and it was bolted to something (the frame?), very Weird w...

Then there's me, with 35 up front and 18 in the back. I can drive forever! Have not tested out that theory yet.

Re: My B is weird

Was thinking the same thing. We were just watching a documentary about Ford. Maybe, after learning the psychological impact of assembly lines, they had a brief experimental period when they let the workers on the assembly line be artistic. This van feels like a 36er. This one's 18+22. Feel like 36+1...

My B is weird

Hey everyone, Just picked up my 1990 B from the mechanic. It stalled when I drove it home (about 70 miles) and on my first outing with it (about 50 miles). I couldn't afford the repair back in December, just getting to it. My mechanic put a new battery in when diagnosing in December. He put in new f...

I see things like this and want to take my B on tour to those of you who are handier than me. This is sweet!

Buying it back...

My Deco-A key arrived today, but didn't work for either the water intake or generator. Oh well! Hope ours are the same, so if you find something that works. BTW, think my sewer is behind the left rear tire, so who knows what our Bs have in common. Mine is a 1990, so I'll take a chance on the Deco-A....

Re: Dinette Conversion

Great mod! I like that it maintains the footprint, since the space is at such a premium. That looks great, Ed. And super functional too. The fabric is a nice choice. Very complementary. Haha, thanks. We got those seat covers done in Mexico from the same guy who did the front chairs. They are cotton,...
