Kentuckian's Explanation is definitely better than mine lol But another point is if you plan on monitoring all of you system current in and out with a shunt. Now your going to complicate things even more all grounds run thrue it even your alternator everything in or out! Here you see the shunt below...

If your planning on putting the agm batteries on your original converter dont! It only charges ar one voltage and will kill your new batteries quickly. You need to replace it with a new smart replacement that charges in three stages. Same with your solar controller agm batteries have different charg...

I remember reading about a recall on the issue of it pumping into the other tank and it overflowing. Probably why they went to a single tank.

Good luck hope its the cheapest part in the system [emoji16] The voltage was low, so I replaced the alternator, but the engine still died. Its a good idea when i changed mine the cooling fan was seized up so it was a possible fire hazard I did before the new batteries.

Tryed that its that snack tray that hits my hips no matter how I lay. I may use the frame and cut the back center out and weld it up to box in the back like the bottom. Ether was new foam is a must.
