Re: New from the East Coast

I could not agree more. Off grid, in and out, grocery stores become refrigerators and wifi is everywhere.

When I was half a year in I gleefully ripped the shower out in lue of a Planet fitness member ship for nationwide showers and a place for an inverter and battery bank.

Re: New from the East Coast

Mountaindent. Thats awesome. A lot of people discouraged me and said this and that couldn't be done. They were wrong. I lived in this thing full time, no camp grounds, city to city odd job to odd job and it worked and works perfectly. I spent nights in random closed business using wifi(or my cell ph...

Re: New from the East Coast

Hey great idea! Thanks for replying. Check out the mods a few comments up. There are pictures. Solar panels and the 32 inch samsung are the real kickers. This van is nearly fully mechanically fully restored. Brand new: transmission, water pump, heater core, fuel filter, starter, battery, distributor...

Re: New from the East Coast

I know its been a long while since I posted on here. I went fully off grid and just co tinued renovating and remaking the b190. So I am at the point where I cant find anything wrong mechanically or functionally with my awesome b190 and I am ready to sell it. Thing is I don't know how to value it. An...

Re: Interior lights dont work.

Thank you every one who responded. I am pleased to see how many people came to help me with this. I brought it to the dealership and they fixed it at no cost. I am still not exactly sure how its wired up but I was informed that a jumper wire was indeed necessary. And it turns out that it was correct...

Re: Interior lights dont work.

Thanks for the advice. Currently this is what i see next to my circuit breaker. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v212/Kadaken/Mobile%20Uploads/20160830_004916_zps7yzp28le.jpg Ido not know why the wire at the top center is cut or the white wire at the bottom is cut. There are 2 terminals each with 2...

Re: Interior lights dont work.

Its hard for me know tell exactly how it is wired up because the shop that did it won't draw or write a wiring diagram for me. After investigating a bit it appears that the four house batteries in the back are connected to my power inverter. Also there is a 50 amp circuit breaker that is connected f...

Before the generator was tied to my truck battery. Now my lights, vents, battery monitor and water pump dont turn on at all. Im not sure ...

Re: Check Engine light

Interesting. So is there a way to reinstall my coach battery and have the generator start and recharge on that battery?

I want the truck battery's only job to be starting the engine.

Re: Check Engine light

What ive learned is that the generator is not recharging the truck battery. This means the battery is getting depleted every time i start the generator and then when i go to start the van it causes another depletion but then the alternator charges it. Mostly from a low percentage of power. My uneduc...
