Re: New member from middle TN
:D Welcome! I personally have not received any support from Airstream, as I have not had a need to do so but I have found a wealth of knowledge and assistance in this forum. I know there are B190 communities on FB and other sites but I have found everything I was looking for right here. Feel free to...

Re: Chemical recommendations?
I don’t think you need antifreeze unless you are winterizing. Maybe someone else can chime in on the evaporating properties of antifreeze. I’d just use water. Actually, since I have the black and grey water tank, I use TST RV Grey Water Odor Control. It supposedly removes grease buildup in your grey...

Re: Chemical recommendations?
I use the Walex porta pack drop in pouch. I’ve tried other stuff like “tank tech” but, for me, the pouch works fine. I put in a fresh pouch every time I dump the tank. I drop it in the toilet, along with a gallon of water. Thetford makes a good product called: Thetford RV Toilet Seal Lube and Condit...

The first pic is looking towards the front of the rv and shows where the sensor attaches. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need pics from other angles

Re: Catalytic Converter Stolen
Sorry for your loss. I stopped a catalytic converter theft next door and had a gun pulled on me. They got away and my neighbor got to keep his cat converter. If there wasn’t a market for the stolen goods then we wouldn’t have to deal with this crap. And no real consequence when they do get caught… T...

Re: Article: Keeping the tires inflated
No, the fronts were spec'd at 52 PSI or something like that. Check the sticker on the driver's door frame to be sure. I did inflate the spare to 80 PSI though - figuring it was easier to let air out to 52 PSI than it would be to add 28 PSI to get it to 80 PSI along the road. Smart move on the spare...

Re: Smog test
I don’t know if this actually works but I’ve been told by a Ford mechanic that you should have a full tank of gas and have the engine warmed up, nice and hot, when you take it in for a smog test. I have followed this advice and have never failed a smog test out here in California. Sent from my iPhon...

Re: Wireless Air Pressure & Temperature Tire Monitor.
I have the TST tpms system also. I’ve been really happy with the performance, expandability, and customer service. Also, the system easily hops from RV to RV and the available range extender makes monitoring a toad super easy and reliable.

Thankfully the interior of my front doors were in great shape. So I had no need to remove and refurbish them.

Re: '97, '98, '99 Original Couch In Action
We took the fame out and installed a gaucho bed. It was more practical for our situation.
Turned out we saved a bit on weight since there was so much metal in the original frame, and seat springs.- Wed Apr 10, 2019 12:59 pm

Re: World's Best B190 Back on the Market
Thanks! We needed that. We have already received the obligatory “Are you smoking crack?!” Anonymous email from Craigslist. My wife said we would be on crack to not at least ask for what we put into it. Actually, we just want her to go to a really great home that would care for her, and...

Here is that promised inside look at the hardware.
Sorry it took so long to post, we were on an RV trip of the central California coast. Beautiful!
