ohhhhhhhhhoooooooooooo, so sorry to see ya go, we joined this forum about the same time. I had high hopes of you hosting The Great B190 Jamboree at your place. As I recalled you saying you had the bar, BBQ pits, acreage and the outhouses for it. c'est la vie! Enjoy your new rig. We shall miss you, F...

Re: Re-upholstery the sofa

Made this post so long ago that I'm most pleased to find it still is read. I recall the most of the seams were chained stitched together; meaning that If you pull the right end of the thread the seam all pulls apart like a feed sack. Therefore, the old fabric can be used for the pattern to cut the n...

NO STOVE, no Toilet, it's a restoration project For certain. I am guessing they probably meant 108,000 rather than 8000 miles.

touching up little things that make a huge improvemet

my 95 is officially an antique this year, but it doesn't have to look worn out. I thought I had posted this long ago but apparently never got the images out of their folder until now. all that is plastic in our B190 has yellowed. Just one can of spray paint works wonders on how I feel about it even ...

Try looking underneath the engine battery tray, bolted to the wheel well. The hubby says it's a royal pain to get to.

Re: shields up!

How much Reflectix did you need? I've been looking to do this, the sun is KILLING me in Florida... but I'm just damn lazy. What size roll should I buy? if I recall correctly Home Depot only had a 24 inch roll of reflectix and the 48 inch roll. we used the 48 inch; we used the whole roll. there was ...

Re: shields up!

Off the wall comment but... should anyone want to duplicate this for less money and perhaps a little bit more work, I may be able to help. I'm a "Blue Apron" customer, and every week, the food delivery comes in insulated bubble wrap bags, foil lined on the outside. The size of the bags wo...

Re: shields up!

Ahhhhhhhhhh yes, Cruces, four years of my prime was spent at state in the 70s. I get back through there once in a blue moon. I am always amazed at how the town has grown, the campus too for that matter. Just thought someday when I'm "rolling in the chips" I'd get a place just out of town, ...

just making the 92' a bit more comfortable for the trips ahead this summer. Got to reflectix at the big box store, pretty pricey stuff for what is essentially silver colored bubblewrap; anyhow, got all windows cut out and in place. now, We can even spend the night at Walmart in beautiful downtown La...

Re: Hello all!

hello and welcome. Our very first rv was an 88 Okanagan, what a step up from tent camping that was. this forum was instrumental in helping us feel comfortable with it. I hope this site does the same for you. By the time we updated and replaced things to our liking in the Okanagan, a 95 b190 came alo...

Re: Upgrading Front Seats?

it is about 7 yards of fabric and a week worth of labor. I go into it a little bit on the a thread here: https://b190.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2807 I used the old cover for the pattern. It is a simple fix just labor-intensive. I even was able to wash out foam cushions and reused the zipper's. As ...

Re: Making fluorescent lights LEDs

It seems the price of them has gone up since I first posted this. They can still found for under $10 for a 16foot reel. search Amazon or eBay for "12v LED strips 5050 daylight".
