Re: 1995 B190 Full restoration

Did you eventually draw up schematics for this vehicle? I just bought a 1995 and there is a drain off the chassis battery that my local mechanic is going to hunt for but I told him I’d try to see if any wiring diagrams are available. Airstream Corporate doesn’t have anything that goes back that far...

Re: Graphics

Airstream may have them available, I'm not sure.

Someone repainted mine (albeit a 1991). It can be done. But I like the originals better - in the original decal, the center white stripe is reflective, so it shines brightly at night when a car's headlights hit it. The repaint doesn't have that.

Re: Water draining out of open tube when pump is running

Very possible. Hopefully not, since they used polybutelene, which is hard to find parts for, or at least hopefully you can repair the valve. The Qest fittings supposedly work, but they are larger, too. I've had to do a few conversions to Pex in my trailer; Home Depot sells a Polybutelene-to-Pex conv...

Re: Water draining out of open tube when pump is running

Should be a valve inside, behind the water heater, that you need to turn off. It's a low point drain for winterizing.

Is it difficult to change the lifting system inside the door And if there is a difference between the left and right side. I only find straight systems with motor and rail.
I translated this, but I don't know the answer.

Site was down, sort of...

The site was down for a few days, I just realized. Some aspects were still working, for example, if you access it via Tapatalk you might not have noticed an issue. I have it up and running now! This post is meant to serve as a test. The software running on the site is outdated, again....I have some ...

Re: new to RV life- should I buy this 1995 B190?

These are pretty reliable drivetrains, except for the transmissions - the E4OD is known to die after 100k miles. So the one you posted in particular...I first saw that ad back in mid-November, at the same price. Just sayin'. These things usually sell pretty quickly. Note that someone removed the thr...

Re: New Owner - outside storage

Thanks Skater- Still debating on cover (high wind area), do you have model number of your converter? I'm hoping to upgrade to solar and lithium in next year or two. I have seen issues online with keeping rig plugged in with original converter. PO did mount a trickle charger for engine battery and s...

Re: New Owner - outside storage

New owner of a 94 (purchased 2 weeks ago). Looking for suggestions on outside storage in Southeast Michigan (next to house on gravel driveway). Do you use a cover, keep plugged in (I have adaptor to plug into outside on 15 amp outlet)? Any other suggestions? Thank You! I have a tarp on mine, but th...

Hey guys!! My name is Cindi, and I just bought a 1999 b190 in October. I’m new to rv’ing, and I’m looking forward to taking it on a few little trips in the southeast then venturing farther and farther outwards over the next year or so. Currently I’m in the process of learning all the ins and outs o...

Re: B190 database

Hello, Thanks to all that run this forum and participate. Picked up a pretty clean 1992 B190 in Idaho back in May of this year from a few guys that were clearly flipping it for a profit and had no clue anything about the rig, but had only 21,000 miles on it. It had been neglected in storage so spen...
