Re: Opening the rear windows

I think one reason for the rear windows is the road fumes (exhaust) come in and they might be afraid of carbon monoxide problems

Onan Carburetor and Adco Windshield Cover for sale

I have the above two items for sale. Both are brand new and have never been used except to be taken out of the box to see what was purchased and the windshield cover was fitted one time on the van. I would like $120 for the carb kit and $35 for the windshield cover. I paid $138 for the carb kit and ...

Re: Hot water switch

When you turn on the heater the light will flash red and then go out, as stated if it stays red the heater did not go on. If it flashes red and then goes out your heater is on and will stay on until the temperature is reached and then will go off, when the temp drops the heater will again fire and g...

Controller stuck on passenger seat

Hi all, has anyone had occasion to take the armrest off on a flexsteel passenger seat. Its a 1991 and the small lever that releases the seat in order to move the seat back to recline is stuck and will not return to a closed position. The seat locks and reclines as normal but I'm afraid that with the...

Re: wifi in campground, tv shows on PC

The antenna I have is a Winegard Rayzar and I purchased it at camping world. I don't know what other places may have it but you can read about it at the below listed site. The current local price here is about $45 dollars but an internet special is $41 and every once in a while about $39. Hope this ...

Re: wifi in campground, tv shows on PC

I stayed in various campgrounds with and without WiFi and as Skater pointed out, if it is slow so will the T.V. program or video be. I purchased a flat antenna from camping world that you can stick to almost any surface with the suction cups and the cable lets you run it either outside or inside. Th...

Re: 460/7.5 engine surgeing and stalling

In the drivetrain forum, there is quite a bit of info on the problem you are experiencing, seems as though there are a few fixes. I tried pump replacement etc but the final fix that still has me running like a new van was the cat replacement as they were plugged and caused a lot of back pressure to ...

Re: Onan generator survey

there is very good information in the generator forum as in all the forums, it takes a while to read through them but most questions are answered. In the generator forum, under my post, fast and easy, it basically goes into a little more detail but is the same as the above post by URStruly, by using...

Re: Onan generator survey

Just for information and maybe save a buck or two. In an earlier post under Generator Info I had talked to a mechanic that had many years of experience with the Onan. If you read that post there is some good info. I searched Onan Green Label part # 0146-0705 (carb kit which is a complete carb). I pu...

Re: What is this?

I have a 91 and also have a switch located in about the same position. Mine is a rocker type switch with a red light and when switched on the light goes on and the transmission shifts out of overdrive and into the lower gear. I don't use it often except for long climbs etc. Don't know if yours is th...

Re: Air intake opening too far too fast

In an earlier post under "drivetrain" 94-460 fuel pump problem by keystone Aug 17 there are a few posts about the problem and the catalytic's. In my post's about the problem I replaced both cats for about $200 each including the labor. Problem solved with no further problems and even thoug...

Re: What should I know about towing behind the B190

We were going to try and tow a ford explorer behind our class C but due to it being an automatic ran into problems I didn't want to deal with. After a little searching I finally went back to a vehicle that most of us have owned at one time or another and purchased a V.W. that is set up as a full bod...

Re: Exactly what runs off what power?

In regards to the generator, I posted some info that might help out under the generator board titled "Generator Info' concerning a way to quiet the gen set which works very well for me and others that have tried it. I don't know about extending the exhaust pipe as it already is sticking out fro...
