Re: Fuel mileage

I also get between 10 and 12 miles to the gallon, even climbing mountain grades and with a 190 pound dual purpose motorcycle on a rack on the back... My rig only has 52,000 miles so its barely broken in and that is possibly why it gets ok gas mileage for a 460 cubic inch V-8. :D

Re: Gen not producing power

Just wanted to say that I had this problem and after checking the inside breakers and opening the Automatic Transfer Switch, which by the way was difficult because the small screw that holds the cover shut was a bitch to get off since the box is located under the couch with no access from the front ...

Any Photos of 1997+ upper bed

My 1997 is missing the upper matress and I believe the frame that moves towards the back when it is pulled out for sleeping. I found the following photo of a 1998 and it appears to have an oak beam that moves to support the extended plywood. Is this the case? Can anyone help with additional photos o...

Upper Front Window

My B190 is a 1997 and I ordered a new upper front window through Airstream since mine is cracked. With shipping, tax and a new gasket it was over $900. The original window is plexiglass but the new one that they sent is thick tempered regular glass and is very heavy. The shop that works on my rig is...

Re: Rear Suspension Modifications

I'd like a kit too please. My rig is a 1996 Ford Econoline 350 with a 1997 B190. It was a late year 96 van that Airstream used with their early 1997 B190's so it Ford VIN is a 96 and its Airsteam VIN is a 97. So for this application I'd need it to work on a 1996 model vehicle. Thanks...

Re: VIN Decoder

Here are my VIN Results. Very Wrong... Its a 1997 Unit on a 1996 Ford Econoline 350 Van. It does not have a Chevy engine. It's not a 1982 or a 2012 model. By using a pdf file I saved last summer I get much more accurate results. Any reason why? 1B9KGVAZXCJ301191 VIN Decode Results Variable Name Valu...

Re: Upper Window

Wondering if this information on the Upper Window for a 1997 is still valid since the last post with order information was in 2014. Also are these part numbers correct for a 1997 model? I notice the person posting them has a 1992. Item Number: 195329-167 (front window) Description: Window, front-bed...

Need New 97 Front Window AIRSTREAM Decal

I have a 97 B190 on a 96 Ford Van. My front upper window was cracked and chipped and leaking so I'm having it replaced by Allied Trailer Supply in Sacramento, CA. Its been a challenge for their plexiglass subcontractor to custom make a new plexiglas window but its almost done. I will post photos onc...
