Re: Under Couch Drawer Conversion

I believe I am the original post -- one of my first modifications, have never regretted it! My only change from the original, was that I ended up converting to 2 catches-- the catch was not quite strong enough to prevent the occasional shift of stuff in the cabinet (mostly folding chairs for outsid...

What is a Zuntic?
Zuntic is a person who made several YouTube videos about his B190 tear out. This might be that same van as shown in his videos at:

Re: Checklist before purchase suggestions

Awesome! Good luck with your trip! I also purchased mine long distance after flying in and then drove it cross-country to get home! Things I would check (or have the seller demonstrate) before purchasing: Schedule an RV mechanic to give it an inspection . Failing this, at least have a mechanic give ...

Re: New speakers, radio and back up camera...

Nice work! I am especially jealous of your back up camera! follow-up to an old thread... we had the stereo shop put in a new stereo, front speakers, a viper alarm with remote locking, and a backup camera, the display for which is a rear-view mirror that fits over our OEM rear-view mirror. The displ...

Re: 1992 and 1998 full restoration

If you're getting rid of the 1992 seats... I'd love to steal all the recline cables from them before you dumpster them.

I can fly in to do it if you don't wanna figure out the disassembly and mail them to Florida!

Re: SoftStart RV for air conditioner

I tried the Supco SPP7E SoftStart capacitor... that's been discussed at: https://www.b190.com/viewtopic.php?p=13432#p13432 I bought it new from Amazon in December 2019 for about $40. It operated just fine.. but didn't quite give me a "soft enough" start and would sometimes still trip circu...

Re: General Build Quality

your research is exactly why I bought the Airstream version. I found an old Ford Falcon (same layout, much poorer build quality) and it led me to researching the exact issues you point to. Airstream did a solid build on these. They are made with real wood, not papermache and pressboard. They have he...

Re: staying cool while boon docking

Any tips on how to stay cool while boondocking? Where both heat and bugs are an issue? I picked up some cheap Walmart sliding door bugscreens, the kind with magnets to auto-close it again after you walk through? Then got some magnets to stick around the outside edge of the doorframe for the entry d...

Re: Toilet odor when driving

I'm sort of at a loss for what to do next. Any thoughts? The easiest fix that I did, and it solved it instantly, was to install a MaxxAir fan which has reversible airflow. So, I open a window inside (usually the window behind the couch) and set the roofmount fan to suck air in as opposed to blowing...

I would guess you would need at least a mostly dedicated 15A circuit.
I tend to trip 15amp circuits, unless it is a VERY short wiring run.

This is usually solved by connecting with a 20amp circuit (typically identified by a slightly different looking outlet)
