Re: Are my batteries working correctly?
Ok....i think i see what youre saying. The new inverter is really only putting 120v out the sockets on front of it. It doesnt have a wire to tie into the house-120v outlets. Thw old one HAS that option. Thanks!

Re: Are my batteries working correctly?
hi guys, hoping you can chime in on this. I found a cheap 1000w inverter so was planning to replace to replace the old 1500w that squeals when turned on. The new one has pos, neg and ground wire inputs. the old one has the same, but also has a large white one that looks to run underneath what's call...

Re: Stabilizer Bars
Lots of good reading on this thread, but not much recently added. I'm wondering if this is still the way to go for Shocks and Stabilizers, or if anyone has any newer input? (Bilstein shocks and the Helwig sway bar). My b currently floats down the road like a cloud.... i'd like to feel a little more ...

Re: Are my batteries working correctly?
OK, warmer weekend ahead (currently 15 degrees here in MO) and I'm close to being done with the interior, so I hope to get more time working on the battery system this weekend. I think what you say about the 3 position switch maybe having something to do with the Amps... or maybe it's to use ONLY th...

Thanks Skater - that's really slick! Worked great - the only think that looks funky is the Series mentions 'chevy'... maybe thats in the airstream DB.

Re: How many sets of seat belts under bench seating?
Mine came without seatbelts. Wondering if they're worth adding... does anyone have pics of theirs and where they attach? JUST FYI - I'm also interested in the post of adding a 'jumpseat' between the 2 front seats - neat idea. Off the top, I think the standard 3rd row seats from a Chevy Tahoe, etc. w...

Re: My Couch Solution
Great idea - thanks for the details on how to do it! So the back bolts connect to the frame and 4x4 blocks (attached to the wood box). Do the original front bolts from the frame to box attach to anything? (or do you leave those off)

Re: Order to install panels in bunk area
hi Abie - they run to the 'switch' that's on the cabinet (drivers side) above the couch. Start there - I'm happy to send you pics of anything I've not covered back up yet. I bought mine with water issues and they had just reglazed the windows. The only remaining issue i could find was the 'weeps' ne...

Order to install panels in bunk area
I have my interior torn out and in process of re-making new panels and recovering. I had so much wood rot that it was hard to use the old panels as a template. I'm getting ready to begin reinstalling and hoping someone can tell me if I"m remembering correctly the order in which the panels shoul...

Re: Are my batteries working correctly?
Both. from the head there is a bundle of RCA and speaker wire. He also had RCA inputs on a puck on top the dash, that ran through the headliner and back to the TV area. So he had the whole thing wired. Now that bluetooth is available, i will probably use a cell phone and pull everything out.. maybe ...

Re: Are my batteries working correctly?
well... i wouldnt say I've figured it out just yet :) I see where it's running but dont necessarily understand it. It makes me wonder if the 3-position switch on the dash has something to do with turning on the audio system.... LIKE maybe in the down position, it turns the speakers on? the radio hea...

Replacement Lights?
Has anyone replaced their factory 'square' lights with anything they like better? Mine seem adequate, but while I have it torn apart for a remodel I thought I'd look for some suggestions. Thx. Todd
