Basic Solar Installation

I recently installed a basic 100W solar system in my B190, which is easily upgradeable to 200W. I've noticed that while some folk are well versed in the ins and outs of solar, and how to put one in a B190, many are not. I thought I'd write about my installation in some detail, in the hope it can hel...

Re: B190 roof swap

It's great that you're documenting this here. As you've mentioned, few others are likely to be doing this, but you never know. At some point, someone, somewhere, will be wanting to do the same thing, and will be happy to see your account, with pictures. I know that if I was doing it, I'd be heartene...

Re: Maximizing the Upper Bed in my 1998 B190

This is interesting txtom. I have not seen anyone else do this before. I have a 1993, with the longer cabover portion, but will be keen to see how this works out for you.

Re: 95 in Houston TX

I notice that the listing ended, and the seller relisted it for $500 less. Then that listing was ended by the seller, presumably because he accepted an offer from someone. It's in nice shape, but it does have almost 125K miles. That price does indeed seem a bit high. I'm curious as to what it actual...

Re: Stopping those pesky leaks

It's been a while since you posted this 8track, but I just noticed it and wanted to thank you. I purchased my B190 in June of this year and have yet to go through a rainy season with it. Some of the header board with Ozite around the overcab front window, has partially pulled away from the inside of...

Re: Fire extinguisher

After purchasing my '93 B190 recently, I noticed that the fire extinguisher was the original issue, and had lost it's internal pressure. I replaced it with an ABC type of very similar size, in the same place, on the side of the cabinet by the side door. There was a 2-pack at Home Depot for something...

Re: Replace shower faucet

This is a very old thread, but it's 5:30am and I've been up for the last 3 hours, trawling the internet with multiple cups of tea (as one does!) I've spent the last hour or so on this forum. It's bits of info like this that make this site so valuable. I just replaced the shower hose on my '93 B190, ...

Re: 93 California

Yesterday, I took possession of this fantastic little camper (the ad has now been deleted). I wish I could post some photos of it, but the computer I use for photo editing is on the fritz. It's in really good original condition for a 26 year-old vehicle. There have been few mods or upgrades, but the...
