Re: Before I add SOLAR...

I have a 1990 B190 and it is not solar ready, which means no wiring from middle of the roof to underneath the couch. I am thinking to use the hole for antenna which is near the read left side on the roof. That requires finishing wires from the thermostat / speaker area to underneath the couch where ...

Re: Post-Covid Suspension - A summary

I did the following A) Bilstein shocks B) Rear sway bar C) safe-t-plus steering stabilizer and it had a huge difference. Especially, safe-t-plus steering stabilizer made the handling a lot easier in high wind.

Re: Winter camping

For anyone wanting to install a tank heater pad, I ended up using the hole underneath the couch. There is a hole there for AC grounding, main coach battery input, etc.

Re: Winter camping

Following up on this old thread for heating holding tanks during the winter. I have ordered Facon holding tank heater . I am struggling a bit for wiring it from holding tank to the area close tower pump control and water heater switch. Does anyone know where the wires from holding tank sensors enter...

Thanks. It turns out that it is out of stock across the US for now. I just placed an order with one of the distributors and it will be ready in 8 weeks! Covid effects!

Re: Norcold N300.3 refrigerator

Thanks for giving the estimates on amp usage of the fridge. That really helped me in making my decision. I am planning to order Novacool R4500 and install it. Based on my search, I found these three online retailers: campervan-hq, suremarineservice, citimarinestore. Do you remember where you ordered...

Re: Replacement for Cabinet hinges

I got the parts I had ordered from www.cabinetparts.com and they work perfectly.

I ordered Variable Overlay Hinge 2-1/16 Inch Width - Satin Nickel - Pair with part number AMBPR7629G10 from the website and it is the exact match.

Re: Replacing the converter

My converter is not working properly. While I get AC in all of my outlets, the house battery is not charged when the car is plugged. The house battery can be charged via alternator though. I am thinking to get a 2000w Victron inverter charger (link below) at some point, but not quite ready and am re...

Re: Center (High) Brake Light

Lucky you! I called several places and they were asking 250-350 dollars! I guess one of the perks of living in the bay area! @slapthecat My B190 model is 1990 and the internal wiring is a bit different I think. I still haven't figured out where the internal wiring from the brake lights are to the dr...

Replacement for Cabinet hinges

I have several broken cabinet hinges in my 1990 B190. I ordered these hinges from Amazon, but it turns out they wouldn't fit and these hinges sizes have changed over the years. As shown in the photos below, instead of 1 7/32", the width should be 1 11/32 ". Photo 1 Photo 2 After extensive ...

Re: Norcold N300.3 refrigerator

@Millennial Falcon I might go with the compressor fridge at some point, but I have one AGM 100 ah battery without solar set up and I don't think it would be sufficient resources. What is the amp draw on 12v for maintaining let's say 35F if outside is 70F? It looks like Nocrold N300.3R has been disco...

Re: Replacement for Dometic RM2301 fridge in 1990 model

Hello all, My fridge has stopped working and I should either a new one or replace the cooling unit. I have decided to go with a new 2-way fridge. However, Dometic does not make RM2301 anymore. My only option seems to be Norcold 3152. However, the RV mechanic is telling me the waster water pipe back...

Re: Norcold N300.3 refrigerator

It seems the last time this thread wads active was 7 years ago. I initially couldn't find this with search and posted here . I have a 1990 B190 and am wondering if I can fit a Norcold N300.3R as a replacement with my Dometic RM2301. Reading above, it looks like it is doable. Searching online, the on...
