Re: Under Couch Drawer Conversion

[/quote] The drop can be mitigated with a large enough wire. Mine has an 8 gauge wire, I think, which should be sufficient given the length of the run and the amount of current being drawn. It's only really a problem if you're drawing a lot of power, which is hard to do in such a small motorhome. [/...

Re: Full remodel - 1991 "The Nautilus"

I guess this will be my first build post. I'm trying to get the essential stuff that's going to be needed to wire in everything ordered so that it doesn't hold me up. Here's the story so far: I've done probably 30 hours of research into "solar" at this point. What a rabbit hole.. I'm not e...

Re: Deep cycle battery info

This was a while ago, I'm curious how it went.

I'm about to do something similar but much more intensive. I'll make a restoration post finally and post about it.

Re: Bunk window

Thanks for the reply. I know the a nailer for that wall panel but I do not know how it's trimmed out. Is there a rubber gasket around that wall panel? What is hiding the edge of my rat fur covered wall and the back of the van there must be some rubber trim that wraps around the inside edges of that...

So excited for your guys' projects!

I was up until past 1 last night looking through all your instagram pics, then I couldn't fall asleep because my brain was whirling with ideas for my build. Your ideas are a bit more ambitious than mine, it's inspiring!

Re: Buying it back...

Awesome! I am almost done gutting my van today. Looks like some of the wood that the roof rack is screwed into is rotted. Are you planning on re-fiberglassing the new pieces back in?

Re: Newbie finally made an account

I'm also doing a full reno. I have nearly everything out (have 97 style) not going to mess with the wet bath. It's a ton of work. Take a ton of pics for reference. Can't take enough pictures I think. I plan on doing the bath area in mine. I want to make the entire area into a wet room/gear storage ...

Newbie finally made an account

Hey there! my name's Ryon, I bought my 1991 B190 a few months ago, I've been lurking on the site since then, it's been a huge help getting to know the van a bit. Recently I decided to do a couple upgrades, mainly a new compressor type fridge and solar/battery system to run it and other accessories. ...
