Leak from the Rim! Not sure what to do.
I came back from 200 mile trip Wisconsin. Parked my B190 on my driveway. And the next day, I notice that one of the tires is completely flat. I was under the impression; something sharp may have got stuck in the tire to develop a small leak and it sat overnight, leaked all the air and went completel...

Can this vent be closed?
Please advise. It seems that cold air is escaping through this vent while the A/C is running. Can this be closed?

Re: Generator Install
Hello Skater Thank you for your reply. So how are these generators on B190s, cooled? Any opening for airflow, through the bottom? Or these generators don’t need to be cooled and will be just fine? Do you have any heat absorbing mechanisms? Am I the first person to have such a dilemma?

Re: Generator Install
Hit another roadblock! Please help. I took the RV to a local RV dealer to install an Onan 2800 Generator (Runs on Gasoline only). According to him, there isn't enough space to provide cooling for the generator, as it sits so close to the propane tank. I tried to explain to him, that Onan 2800 microl...
Re:
Well, it's done! It was actually fairly easy to do - the old stuff was still pliable (cracked and broken, but pliable). Took me about two hours. And, of course, here's the writeup and pictures (you knew that was coming, right? :) ). I did find that the original installer had overtightened some of t...

Re: Generator Install
I went to Arts RV in Glendale Heights, IL and the gentleman quoted me $700 for the installation of the Generator. Is it reasonable or too high? Please let me know your thoughts. I am providing the generator. The quote includes, mounting the generator in the slot in the driver side (currently, it is ...

Qest Fittings
Fellow enthusiasts, Where can I find QEST fittings and pipes? I looked on the internet, but not much luck. Can you refer me to some good sources? Price is not a concern. Again, Is it QEST or Quest? Please help. Is there a part number for these fittings used in B190s? I need the pipe hoses, black elb...

Can someone refer me to a good RV repair person or place in an around Chicago? My class B motorhome needs a generator installed on it. I have a good working Onan 2800 Generator and I have a slot for the generator on my B190 airstream. I need someone to mount the generator on my van and do all the wi...

Re: Grr...coolant leak
Skater, what was it finally? and what did you do about it after that. Today I took my b190 for its first shakedown trip for around 500 miles. During the trip I stopped for a break after around 200 miles and noticed a small puddle of coolant under the van. I could see a tiny stream of coolant leaking...

Re: Water leaking through the carper near the running boards
Today, I hooked the city water connection and turned the water on. The leak is from one of the valves going into the hot water heater tank at the back. I immediately turned the water off. Now I need to open the enclosure where the heater is situated and look closely what is going on. Hopefully I don...

Re: Water leaking through the carper near the running boards
Planck, in one of your earlier posts, you have mentined.... "The 12 volt pump is under the rear closet. It can be seen and sort of accessed when you open the passenger sider rear door and look in the hole at the bottom. There are also two drain valves in there that need to be closed and another...

Re: Water leaking through the carper near the running boards
Thank you for your reply. I am pretty sure I had the drain valve by the running board closed. I had it open earlier, the tank will not fill, as water was running out through the drain outlet from under the van. Skater then advised me to shut it off, which I did, and problem was solved, and I was abl...

Water leaking through the carper near the running boards!
I tried to fill the tank from a house connection through the potable water inlet and tried to start the water pump. The motor started running and I could hear the sound of running water, but no water through the taps. Suddenly guess what..? Water starts to leak through the carpet area near the runni...
