Furnace Motor - how to get at it?
My furnace works, but has a bit of a screeching noise to it. Looking online, people suggest either replacing or trying to lubricate the furnace's fan motor.
I was wondering if anyone on the forum had opened up the furnace to get at the motor. I couldn't find any instructions online about how to do ...

When the engine battery is started it triggers a relay ("battery isolator") that puts connect the engine battery in parallel with the house battery. That way both batteries are charged from the alternator when the engine is on. When the engine is off the engine battery is disconnected from the house ...

Re: 1991 12 volt fridge info
I traced the problem to under the bed where the circuit panel is. There was a relay there that had been altered that was tied in to the 12 volt fridge.
Ahh, this looks like the answer to my question in this other post about the fridge wiring:

Need constant 12 volt for new fridge
I'm replacing the fridge in my 1990 b-van.
The old (original) fridge had a 12-volt connection, but it was only for keeping the fridge cool, and the 12-volt connection is only live when the engine is on to keep from running down the battery too quickly.

How does the monitor panel measure the propane?
Since I bought my 1990 b-van in December the monitor panel has always showed that the propane was full.
Well, I was trying figure out why my fridge was going out, and sure enough I just ran out of propane even though the monitor panel still shows the tanks as being full.
Anyone know what I should ...

Yeah, sounds good. The only issue I see is that you're "supposed to" have matching batteries. So if you are running two house batteries they should be the same type/size/age.
I don't know exactly why that's the case, although I have read this quite a few places including a very stern message about ...

I installed an AGM battery battery under the couch in my 1990 b-van.
There was just enough room for a group 27 size battery tray to fit there up against the baseboard of the couch. I bough the tray from Amazon.com, and it came with a velcro strap to hold the battery in place.
