Did they replace the catalytic converter, or are they able to be cleaned somehow?

My furnace works, but has a bit of a screeching noise to it. Looking online, people suggest either replacing or trying to lubricate the furnace's fan motor.

I was wondering if anyone on the forum had opened up the furnace to get at the motor. I couldn't find any instructions online about how to do ...

It's possible the circuit breaker for the converter was blown, or some other problem with the converter. The AC circuit breakers are in the panel that has the 12 volt fuses under the couch.

When the engine battery is started it triggers a relay ("battery isolator") that puts connect the engine battery in parallel with the house battery. I traced the problem to under the bed where the circuit panel is. There was a relay there that had been altered that was tied in to the 12 volt fridge.

The old (original) fridge had a 12-volt connection, but it was only for keeping the fridge cool, and the 12-volt connection is only live when the engine is on to keep from running down the battery too quickly.

Thanks for the picture. I do have a clear plastic gauge on the propane tank. It had a nut on the front and bottom that I guess is for attaching the connection to the control panel, but I didn't see any wires in the area. I'll have to look around a bit more.

Since I bought my 1990 b-van in December the monitor panel has always showed that the propane was full.

Something I'm very tempted to work on is extending the shower pan to take the entire back of the van up to the closet and surrounding the toilet. Then I could either sit on the toilet cover to take a sit-down shower or have more room for standing up.

Yeah, sounds good. The only issue I see is that you're "supposed to" have matching batteries. So if you are running two house batteries they should be the same type/size/age.

ok, based on my 1990 here's what I think you should be doing assuming you are removing the house battery from the engine compartment and replacing it with your AGM battery under the couch.

1) Remove the house battery from the engine compartment
2) Remove the "+" lead that attached to the house ...
