Re: Removing the side door panel

I couldn't figure out why the panel wouldn't pop off until I saw that somewhere down the line someone added six metal screws to it. Once I found one I knew what to look for and was able to find and remove the rest. You still can't get a very good look at the mechanism, but you can get your hand in t...

Removing the side door panel

I've got a problem with the passenger side double doors. The left side door has the locking mechanism stuck in the full up position and door can no longer be closed properly. I'd like to get a look at the mech, but I can't figure out how to remove the door panel.

Re: Generator Install

You need a right angle exhaust pipe that exits just in front of the driver side rear wheel. You'll also need a hanging bracket for support. Heat really isn't an issue here, but you don't want to vent the exhaust directly under the rv since it will find a way back inside.

Re: Generator info

I bought one early this year and have not yet permantenly installed it yet. I just stick it on when I intend to run the generator and it does quiet it down nicely.

Re: Water leak in fridge caulking?

Are you sure that the leak is from the fridge? I had a wet area in front of the fridge last summer and found that it was the back doors that were leaking. The water ran across the vinyl by the toilet and then on to the rug. Happened several times and I couldn't figure it out since the vinyl dryed qu...

My 1991 7.5l gets 10 miles on a good day, and a little less when I'm pulling the motorcycle trailer.

If I were you, I'd take a ride over to see the rig and then make him/her a reasonable offer. They might not take it right away, but I don't think they have much of a chance selling it on eBay. The starting price is way too high and the guys a newbe with a zero rating.

Good information to know.

Were you camping on 41 in March of 2010? My wife and I had flown down to Miami and picked up a rental harley to tour with. We were on 41 on the 11th and saw two B190's right around the campgrounds you talked about.

Why don't you have the seals replaced? I had the seals let go last year during a heat wave and had them replaced for about $500. That was several thousand miles ago.

Maine Sighting

You might see my rig since we're nearby in New Hampshire and are using the 190 to do short trips around the state, VT and ME. You'll know my rig by the Boris and Natasha pictures on the sides.

Cheri,

Listen to Skater and at least have someone qualified look those tires over. Fixing the inside is nice, but having an old tire blow can cancel all your work and then some. I bought a 1991 a little over a year ago and the very first thing I did was change the rubber just for piece of mind.
