Bought my '95 with 90k miles for $7200

I had the following done:
Inspection by my mechanic upon purchase
4 New Michelin tires
Replaced 1st House battery with Deep Cycle from Walmart
Installed 2nd house Optima battery under couch w/vent box
New belts: A/C Pulley and some other belt
New electric ...

Excuse my ignorance...

But I thought that batteries (other than AGM) need some type of venting to the outside of the rig.

What are your thoughts on this? Am I wrong?

Yeah space is at a premium for things like this. You can put it in the overheadd bed. It would fit...but it might get the bed area more dusty than you care to have it.

Have you thought about a hitch storage box? They can be found relatively inexpensively. I saw one at Harbor Freight for around $99.

Yeah when I saw that dinky battery under my hood - my mind immediately got to thinking how to fix it. I did add a 2nd Optima battery under the couch. But still - It was nagging me about that mini little battery.

I just had brought my mattress in to them and he replaced it with a new high density foam.

I just took the Bvan up to Mammoth twice this January and it never missed a beat. It only got down to around 20F overnight.

I poured about 1/2 gal of RV antifreeze into each the black and grey tanks and never minded anything else.

Oh yes - the skiing and 'boarding was epic.

A couple of weeks ago I ran across an ad on Craigslist for a '95 B190 about 45 min away in Carpinteria.

I loaded up the family to take the drive out to take a look.

We just bought our '95 B190 a few weeks ago and we're lovin it.

I've taken it up to Mammoth a couple of times already and it has actually slept my family of 5 very comfortably.
