Re: Cleaning fiberglass top
My only concern with topical stuff is what happens when it dies. Getting stuff off can be a nightmare. No experiance with it so it may not he an issue. But I have used stuff that works as the product your describing. It took chemicals to get the dried white flaking product off. I've even seen people...

Re: Cleaning fiberglass top
Well our fiberglass top was in real good shape when I bought the van maybe 3 yrs ago. Norcal sun took care of that issue!! It was looking pretty bad so I bought a commercial buffer, bought some buffing products and went to town. Ended up with dehydration, seized up and jacked up muscles and a scream...

Re: Engine sputters under load and more- Victim of the ECM?
Update, I have not used the van since the ecm bafoonery with SOLO. my advise to anyone with ECM related issues to take the ECM to anyone but SOLO. I see a few others that had good luck with them, although if you Google reviews on the company you will find many more unhappy people than happy. I'm one...
Re: Leak -
So it sounds like you did not remove the walls below the sliders. That's my big concern obviously mold can grow in there. Ill be removing my walls as soon as Im certain there is insulation in there. Which as you say most likely so.. Thank you VERY much for taking the time and writing all you did. Me...

Re: Leak - QUESTION PLEASE
NEXT!!! I got the dreaded leak under the bed frame top boards. Im sure its the side windows. My question: Is there insulation between the walls below the side windows? Im talking about the windows that slide on each side of the bunk. I know there is insulation below the bunk front window under the c...

Re: Engine sputters under load and more- Victim of the ECM?
I hear ya, but I don't think they test anything. They know the failures and just attack it. If they truly tested mine it would have passed. The odds of two failures and the exact same problem existing is 10 billion to 1. I worked for Hewlett Packard for 25yrs and did many years at the bench doing co...

Re: Engine sputters under load and more- Victim of the ECM?
Well I got the ECM back from SOLO, LOL funny they said my ECM was bad but my van still runs like poo. I question that they truly test anything prior to charging you money. My van ran perfect until whatever it is failed. I have never had any ECM related issues. Im back on the hunt. SOLO is on my poo ...

Re: Engine sputters under load and more- Victim of the ECM?
UPDATE, I sent my ECM to SOLO last Monday. SOLO just called said my ECM was bad. Said the caps where leaking.. Also a bad Coil on the board. I should be getting it back in next week- its all done just needs to ship.. The cost 175.00 was not bad if that fixes my issue... It would be nicer for 50.00 b...

Re: Engine sputters under load and more- Victim of the ECM?
I think it was. Damage can happen if the EGR does not open or close. Mine had two codes they both said EGR failed to open pretty sure it was 332 or something in that range, sorry I can not recall exactly. but easy to look that code up on-line... The engine needs the EGR functioning to vary the fuel ...

Re: Engine sputters under load and more- Victim of the ECM?
Thank you for the link and info. By the way I have not thrown a code. I did have a EGR issue a few weeks ago and it threw a code so that's working or was working/monitoring by the ECM. Turned out to be the stainless steel lines that run along the passenger frame rail. They terminate at the ends just...
