Re: Thumping Behind Drivers Side Seat During Left Turns?
I've had a bad generator exhaust hanger make a similar sound when the generator is running and its exhaust comes into contact with a vehicle frame member. Lateral acceleration would make this more likely. It's easy to visually a defective exhaust hanger in under one minute. Just follow the generator...

Re: Generator Exhaust Pipe Hanger
Mine just totally snapped! I just ordered a "Cummins Onan (155-2174 (X)) Exhaust Hanger" for about 12 bucks on Amazon. In addition to looking correct, other sources I found corroborate this, one of them citing this part number (without the "X") as a sub component to an exhaust pa...

UPDATE: an Airstream dealer said the relay is a continuous duty Cole Hersee 24106 (haven't confirmed). To be clear, the relay I'm talking about is located behind, and accessed by removing, the driver's side headlight. I'm also wondering if anyone has a part number or supplier of this relay. No luck ...

Any tips on reattaching a sagging plywood ceiling panel to the fiberglass? Glue? Screw? My fear with screws is cranking one through the fiberglass roof.... Has anyone screwed into the wood members embedded in the fiberglass (i.e., above the thin plywood)?

Re: Adding Propane Capacity
I regularly went over 10 days this winter (full-time) in freezing Virginia temperatures with no modifications other than a heavy U-shaped floor-to-bed level curtain starting behind the couch, passing just behind the front seats, and ending between the side doors and counter. I rarely use the water h...

Re: Upper Window Leaks.....to the inside of the B190
I found replacement window seals for ~$1/foot. http://www.interstatemetals.com/cat_windows2.htm I'm calling in my order for 21 feet each of Glaze Bead 009-842 (black) and 1/8" Glaze Bead 009-344 (black). The company sent me some samples. It was clear those were the correct ones for my 94's HEHR...

Just found a 3-pack of SouthCo 5lb latches on eBay for $5+3.50(ship)=8.50. I'm pretty sure they're the H315 latches from RVDesigner. Looks like the seller has 1 more 3-pack left! http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Southco-Push-to-Close-RV-or-Boat-Cabinet-Door-Latch-5-lbs-set-of-3-/330877438958?pt=Motors_RV...

Re: Replacing the converter
Up and running! For some reason, I'm getting ~14.4v in Boost mode (solid light) by default.
Thank you all so much for your detailed posting! I just tried to upload picture without success, so I'll try again from my computer asap.

Re: Replacing the converter
Thanks again guys! I'm working on installing the 9260c, but am not sure what's positive, negative, and ground of the red, white, and blue wires that run from the converter to the fuse panel on the right side. I might be posting back with a blown fuse story!

Could you let me know which "fuse panel kit from Best Converter" you are referring to? I haven't been able to find it. Thanks for the great writeup!

Re: New Yawker's New Buyer Checklist
Thanks Skater and Wakeslayer. I was just going off the RV's volt gauge, but it does improve when I'm hooked up to power, running the generator, or running the engine. I think the old battery under my couch, which seems to run in parallel w/ the almost-new front-passenger-side battery under the hood ...

Re: Electrical system background
Yeah I suspect the old deep cell under my couch needs to be topped off or replaced, because my coach voltage is ALWAYS low without generator/alternator running, like immediately after shutting off gen/460.

The tank was actually EMPTY; this resolved the heat and water heat issues) -4 brand new E...

Re: Table Related information for all years....
Thanks guys! What a great group. Sorry I wasn't clear about my problem. What I haven't been able to find online is the piece that holds the pole to the floor plate. For some reason, this is the only part that did not come with my B190. The link is a picture of my floor (PRE-vacuum). So, I have the p...
