Ok I see your situation. $8500 will buy you a replacement here in the USA. Maybe take the money and shop the US market. That would at least put you back to square one. Good luck what ever you decide. Howard

Re: Anyone Looking For Parts? 1993
Sorry but glad you are OK. From the posted pictures the B van looks repairable. But if the frame is bent that may be a different story. Buy it back from the insurance company CHEEP!!! they really dont want it or have to peddle it, so my experience with them is you should be able to buy it Cheep. It ...

The house battery
Ford up until 1991 used a size 27 battery as the house battery. You could buy them just about anywhere. Very popualar size. Then in 1992 Ford redesigned their vans. The new design incorporated a very special odd size battery that became a special item not handled by most auto suppliers. The regular ...

I had the same problem on my 95 rear door. My friend has a 93 and had the same problem on three doors. I could not find a fix or where to buy just the cables. Seems a shame that we have tro replace the whole assembly but thats what we had to do. If you could find a place that makes up similar cables...

If the number decals are on the front glass, you can remove them with a single edge razor blade. If the decals are on the fiberglass this method works very well. It was developed by my wife. Items needed for this is an old wash cloth and a steam iron, one you use for laundry. Wet the wash cloth and ...

Gary;
Thanks for that bit of advice. That may be where I went wrong, thinking it needed to have some preloading at rest. I will readjust accordingly.

I need to correct my reply. See Roadhog reply posted Apr 4, 2011 under "Interior" not the "Exterior" Form Index. Sounds like you have a similar problem to what I had. Hope this works for you.

rear sway bar
Alaskan: I ordered a Hellwig rear sway bar for my 95 B from Amazon. The unit I recieved had like a 3/8 inch front hanger rod instead of the bent metal angle ones I see in the installation you showed on your photos. I am not happy with the results. I still have a lot of roll and the wind really raise...
