I had a frustrating generator fuel pump problem several years ago. I studied and studied the writing diagram, trying to isolate the problem. Turns out the fuse holder was defective, so even with a good fuse in it, current would not go through. I new $1 fuse holder solved the problem.

Thanks Skater

I will check that out. That was going to be my first try, but switch removal does not look trivial on the 93. Requires a "very" thin wall socket.

Courtesy Lights Won't GO Off - 93 B190

Well, this is not an Airstream question but more a 93 E350 problem. Our recently purchased 2nd Airstream has a few electrical glitches which I am working on. The first one was flaky intermittent wiper operation while driving it home from the dealer in rain. Found this site: http://www.fordf150.net/h...

My 91 190 had the same leak. Rotted out the bed frame before I discovered it just last month in Florida. The large rubber seal around both berth side windows had shrunk and pulled away from the fiberglass. I filled in the gap, but will never know if that fixed the problem as we traded it in for a 93...

Well, since I started this post, I will ask a question: How many of you drive and have the fridge in gas mode? That is what the manufacturer recommended when I called them with fridge questions. I suppose thats okay with a trailer, but with gasolene fumes, I would think that if it is in gas mode, it...

Okay, you answered one part, that the fridge kicks in in 12 volt when igition is on. The relay on mine was to the left of the power panel, sort of down on the floor. My guess is because of the 10 amp draw, either Airstream or someone added the relay. Since I hardwired the 12 volt fridge, it was alwa...

Differences between 1991 and 1993 190s

While it is fresh on my mind I would like to share my observations of the differences I have seen between our 91 190 that we had for 7 years and a 93 that we just got last week. The 93 has no small vent windows on the front doors, which I will miss. The 93 has a small house battery which I do not ca...

1991 12 volt fridge info

Just joined the forum after 7 years of owning a 91 190. I now have a 93 190, but would like to share a little info on the 12 volt fridge mode on my 91. When acquired I had problems in the 12 volt mode and found that no 12 volt power was getting to the fridge. I traced the problem to under the bed wh...

Just got signed up for this great forum. I have had a 91 190 for 7 years and just traded it in for a 93, as the ravages of rust had really taken over the lower body and frame on the 91. While looking for a replacement, I discovered this forum. I have already learned a lot about the 93 from reading t...
