Re: Passenger seat cable

I don't think most 190s used Ford seats. Probably asking the wrong source. May have to have one custom made.

Re: propane smell

There was a good writeup in one of the RV magazines last year on servicing the propane system. Bottom line, they recommended having a "certified" propane expert inspect the system. I would call around to propane filling shops and find one that can check out your system. Does not have to be...

Re: New Bilstein Shocks

Just got an email from AJUSA that the back ordered rear Bilsteins should be available in October. Cutting it tight here in northern MI to get them installed before winter.

Winegard(sp?) anttenae booster

Just a heads up on the antennae device next to the microwave/ac switch. I replaced this unit several years ago as it was not working. It quit working again so I removed the panel in the upper closet that shields all of the wiring and antennae wires. There was corrosion on the printed circuit board. ...

Great idea with the laminated card. We had our hose disappear at a camp ground, so now are careful about when to leave stuff. But the card should at least tell honest people you did not forget the items when you left.

Re: What are these???!

our 91 had these. I think they are vapor canisters for the fuel system, or something like that.

It's been about 7 years since this thread was discussed. Anyone done as in the gallery photos, or anything else to extend the bed?

I put these on our 93, as our dog sleeps in the drivers seat at night. Easy to wash, good quality and fit well:

Re: New Bilstein Shocks

I have uploaded pictures to photobucket, but can't figure out how to get them posted here, even though I did this once before and re-read the directions. Also created a gallery(Planck's 93) and have the pictures there, but something must not be set right because that gallery does not show up when I ...

Re: New Bilstein Shocks

In the process of replacing original shocks on our 93. Have the fronts done, and yes, a real pain. Clearance for a wrench on the top nut on one side was almost non-existant. Took about 1/2 hour just to find out what size nut was up there. It's 15mm ATF. Only wrench I could get in there was an offset...

Re: Weight restrictions top bed

Don't know the capacity, but the original board on my 93 was about 7/8" thick fiber board screwed down onto what looks like 2x2s. Pretty strong until it got wet from leaking windows. I replaced the 2 forward damage pieces with a more water resistant boards, along with new butyl window bonds and...

Re: Upper Window Leaks.....to the inside of the B190

I am working on upper side window leaks on my 93. Have ordered and received the 2 glazing sizes. However, for the fixed window, the glazing in primarily decorative according to what I have been able to find out. Re: Floor Mats

In our 91 I installed some trim to fit rubber mats. When we bought the 93(newer body style) they did not fit as well. So, if ordering, make sure its for 92 or newer if you have the range of B190.
