Dump cap replacement?
I didn't see a title on this one yet. I recently noticed that the dump cap was missing the gasket and was easily screwing and unscrewing off. I went to the RV store and asked for a new gasket, they said they don't sell gaskets, just new caps. No problem as the new cap cost maybe 8 bucks. I get the n...

Re: Weird engine hiccup still persists
Mine does the same thing, good to hear that I'm not alone. I get it to cruising speed and it sputters a bit until I let off the gas or give it a few pumps. Happens once in a while, nothing consistent. Mechanic is baffled, can't figure out what's wrong after cleaning the fuel injector and replacing t...

Re: Replacing the converter
Great thread and thank you! I installed the PD4655 myself, only problem I had was trouble fitting the huge black wire in the upper middle of the new fuse panel. Since I couldn't find a thread on how to add a battery, I had the RV shop help with that one. I had them check my wiring on the fuse panel ...

Re: Replacing the converter
Thanks for the informative step by step instructions, most helpful! Questions though.... I'm 95% done with replacing with the PD 4655 inverter and DC board that came with it. Unfortunately, I cannot fit that big black wire (and it's accompanying smaller black wire) into the lug terminal in the DC bo...

Re: I need with a battery...
Thanks, I missed that post. I doubt if I'll get that creative with the slider, but I do want to install one or two batteries there. But the major question is, do I need to vent it with a hose to the genny box if it's a sealed battery? The vent boxes vs regular ones are about 10Xs more expensive ($80...

Re: I need with a battery...
Hi there, I just ordered a PD 4655 inverter and wanted to put a battery or two under the couch of my 90 van. I keep reading mixed opinions where some say you CAN put a sealed battery indoors and others saying you can't. Anyone know for sure or have experience with this and what is the best battery f...

Re: Small 110v air compressor
The VIAIR 90P works well for me and it's portable. I keep it in the van all the time and just hook it up to the battery when I use it. Inflates the back tires to 80psi without a problem.

Re: Replacement cabin roof vent
Thanks! Looks like it's around 230 on Amazon. I'll be using this in the winter and will have a lot of moisture in the van to get rid of (wet clothes and ski gear). Sorry for all the questions. But was it difficult to take the old one out? It looks like you had a lot of rust built up on the old one. ...

Re: 2012 Winter Project list
Hehe, I read that everyone is putting the B190s to bed for the winter, I'm just getting started  All three resorts have RV lots, but I think Alpental doesn't have any shore power. Crystal and Stevens are very limited, I stayed at Crystal a few times in the spring and had a blast. I blew the wa...

Re: Winterizing your B190
Where do you hook up your air compressor? Is it a valve you attach to the shore water line? I'll be doing a lot of winter camping and want to ensure that I get all the water out of these lines. I use this , but if you don't have other air tools, this works too. That's great news as I ordered the se...

Re: Adding a generator
I've already taken the shower curtain out and built a shelf on the top part of the shower (and a removable shelf for the bottom). It's storage only for me and I'll use the hose to clean things off muddy gear on the outside of the vehicle. All depends on what you resign that area for. I don't ever pl...
