Re: Refer. Replace or Fix?

Well damn. The place that has them for $590 is completely unavailable via phone and they don’t get good reviews. This is too big of a purchase to risk. The next best price is $685 but then shipping is $150. So far, I’ve cleaned out the burner, it didn’t look bad although I have no reference. Take o...

Re: Buying it back...

Finally got to work on this a bit more. I reinstalled the fridge door, and moved it to a level part of the driveway to test the fridge again, with my mods and new computer fans roughly in place (the fans aren't yet mounted so I can move them around to try different spots). Within two hours the free...

Re: Refer. Replace or Fix?

I’ve seen the cooling systems for $300 after returning the core but at that point I would still have 20 year old insulation and controls. I tried it on 12v a while ago, it wasn’t a real thorough test, I didn’t leave it there for days, but for the day I did try it, it didn’t keep the fridge cold at ...

Skater,

Can you make the height 615 px or 650 px? I uploaded standard 800x600 px pictures but the scroll bar is still there, it's just off by a little bit. See my AC cap topic. Thanks!

Re: Air Conditioner Capacitor

Not a direct answer to your question... However, it is related. EasyStart is a soft start controller designed to dramatically reduce the start up surge current of the compressor motor. https://www.microair.net/collections/easystart-soft-starters There are some informative videos on youtube that sho...

http://www.camperpartsworld.com/Dometic-RM2351-Americana-camper-Refrigerator.html I level my rig whenever I stop for the night. The rig might sit unlevel for the day while I’m out. I use it exclusively on propane. Wow, that is much cheaper. Makes my want to get one right now. Try it on elec and let...

I would recommend installing one if possible. I installed mine myself and I don't understand why it wouldn't fit. The shocks are further back in the van so I don't see how it could interfere with the stabilizer.

Air Conditioner Capacitor

Hi, Does anyone know what value the run capacitor is? Mine is completely rusted. Apparently mine also came with a start capacitor with a PTCR. I'm going to "upgrade" the start cap and PTCR to a Supco SPP6 to see if it will help with my generator shutting down when the compressor kicks on. ...

Re: Generator Removal for 1998 B-190

The generator runs pretty good now. A little bit rough at idle but not too bad. At least the generator doesn't shutdown when the A/C compressor kicks on now. This is what it sounds like right now: https://youtu.be/eRGV7Jzm4IA Let me know if that sounds and looks normal to you. Found a tip that might...

Where are you located? Are you willing to drive 10 hours to go see it or you don't need to see it. I think that info will help out.

So, it looks like it's working as designed - it's supposed to show a smaller image, then clicking on it should give you the full size image. When a picture is uploaded as an attachment, it creates a thumbnail for it. That thumbnail was set to 400 px wide. I just changed it to 800 px, so try it and ...
