Don't forget an inline surge protector on your 110 cord....rather than having to deal with it on the plug end I installed it on the other end in the compartment where the cord is stored under the shower stall.....that type mod can easily be done on the pre 1997 rigs. That's a good idea. I'll have t...

Re: 110 volt outlet/refrigerator circuits

Does anyone know if the 110 volt outlets for refrigerator and inside outlet go through (are connected) to the back of the GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) located on the wall next to the frigerater and above the generator switch in a 1992 B Model. I had no power to frig or the outlet at the ...

(Moved from General Chat to Webiste/Forum issues.) 8) The security code is a hassle, I'll admit, but it's there to prevent spammers from gaining access. Obviously they could still log in manually but spammers want to use scripts to make it easier, and the security code defeats scripts. So far, I've ...

LED conversion?

Has anyone tried converting some of the incandescent bulbs to LEDs? This site has bulbs that will fit in a 168 socket (which is what my bulbs are), but, since they are larger than a regular bulb, it's not clear whether they'll fit in the fixture. I think the T13 wedge-based bulbs with 6 LEDs might f...

Camping plans?

So, what are everyone's camping plans this summer? Here are mine: My first trip: Camping with the WBCCI members at the Cherry Blossom Rally in April in Upper Marlboro, MD (approximately 8 miles from here). People come from all over the US to go to this rally, so I'd feel pretty silly skipping it. :)...

The worst was in February when a storm knocked out my electricity for 48 hours. After the first day, though, I used the generator in the camper to run the fridge in the house (the old cord-through-the-window trick), then the second night I slept in the camper with the generator running a heater. DEF...

I have to get pictures of my camper towing something. The blue color of my Impala actually looks pretty good with the camper - they seem to fit together really well. However, I usually take the Cougar on trips, and it doesn't match as well.

Well, that depends - does he sleep in the upper bunk at night?

Here's Snowball (someday I'll get a pic of him actually in the camper, but he does go with me):

Courtesy Parking?

This is a service the WBCCI members offer each other - the idea is that you can stay at someone's place for free for a night. They may offer hookups, or it may just be a place to park off the street. If you'd like to offer your place for fellow B190 site members, post your location below (general ar...
