Do your newer dipsticks have a ford part number on them I could use for ordering? Otherwise I might be able to order one with the last part of your VIN - I think they need the final 6 characters. Thanks! As the E350 is still being produced you might just be able to order a new dipstick from Ford if ...

Looking for Transmission Dipstick for B190
My airstream is built on the 1990 E-350 with the overdrive transmission (E4OD). Apparently at some point the transmission fluid dipstick on my van was replaced with one from the wrong vehicle. Somehow it has a dipstick from a 1987 Van, which is too short -- this led recently to a shop adding way to ...

Fixed! The battery isolator in front of the coach battery has three connections. On the left, a connection to the + terminal of the coach battery On the back, a connection to a small wire that goes to a harness connection and is charged when the ignition is on (this triggers the relay) On the right,...

Ah, I see what you're talking about. There is a relay connected to the coach battery mounted in front of the van. I was expecting to see a box connected to a large battery cable for charging, so was trying to trace some of the other electrical cables. In my van this relay connects the + side of the ...

House battery not charging from alternator
My house battery is not charging from the van's alternator. This is in a 1990 b190. The alternator itself is working fine and is keeping the chassis battery charged up. Also I can use the generator to charge the house battery. I was looking through the old yahoo forum, and saw someone else reporting...

At least in the older vans the CB radio is hooked up to the regular van radio via a signal splitter that is located under the panel in the top center of the dash. If you remove the four screws that hold the panel down to gain access you will see where the radio antenna comes in and hooks up to the s...

I did end up going through the vent in the closet, and the camera is mounted on the roof and working now. It was a little tricky pulling the cable through the vent pipe. There's a sharp turn in there, and I wasn't able to pull the RCA plug through. I ended up cutting the cable in half so I could pul...

Any suggestions on installing a rear-view camera on the roof
I'm going to be installing a rear-view camera in my b190. I want to install the camera on the roof of the van, but need to figure out how to get the wires there (one rca video cable, and one 12 volt power cable). I've been considering drilling into the vent in the closet, and running the wires up th...
