Overdrive switch.
Hi all. Has anyone ever had problems with the overdrive switch on the dash. My 91 460 stays in OD all the time. I'_m not sure if I have power to the switch and the manual I have says the fuse is on the starter relay solonoid which I probably have to pull the engine cover to find. Ideas, opinion are ...

Re: Over 8 years...
As a new member I also echo what others have said about the value of this site. Years ago some old timers on the Vintage Airstream site were invaluable to me when I was rebuilding a 61 Tradewind. I was so pleased to find the same resource for the B190. Thanks to all whotels had a hand putting it tog...

Re: Anybody cover their B190s for the winter?
I also cover mine just about all the time when I'm not using it and don't see any scratches or scuff marks. Real easy to put on and zippers makes entry very accessible. I do add a rope around the middle, just in front of roof rack so water doesn't pool and freeze.

Re: Dinette
As usual very helpful responses. I was going to wait until after our winter trip but I'm thinking of diving in, constructing it in such a way so as it can be returned to original. Sofa is in perfect shape. That would mean a more narrow table. Thanks to all.
Dinette
There is a 92 b190 on ebay that has a dinette in place of the sofa bed. Looks exactly like what I'm thinking of doing on my 91 and I wonder if anyone has done it and has either pics or advice. I know I'd have to remove generator box and probably a bunch of wires. Thanks for any help.

Re: Battery Isolator?
Yes, I did run a new hot wire to isolator and it kicks on and works as it should. Coach battery is being charged by alternator and 12v works on refridge. I fused the line (ran it right off battery ) and out a on/off switch on it. Still wish I could find where original line is fused.

Isolator Ignition wire
Hi, I put this in detail under electrical in an old post but not sure if that is correct format. Basically I'm not getting any juice on the wire that clicks on the isolator. Does anyone know how that wire is fused? I can't find it and I'm about to run a new wire
Thanks! Barry

Re: Battery Isolator?
I need some help. I've looked through the posts and can't find any reference to the fuse on the ignition wire going to the isolator. My coach battery doesn't charge by alternator (does by shore power) and my refrigerator doesn't work on 12v. I understand how these are connected (I think). I have 14v...

Thanks!
Not really new to the site because I used it to buy a 1991 last September and have read it frequently anytime I had a question about something. My rig only had 32k and was from the Southwest so it was in good shape with just enough wrong to make it interesting. I've rebuilt a 66 Airstream Caravel in...

Re: 1997 B190 For Sale $12,500
HI, New this site so hope this goes ok. My wife and I have been traveling in old Airstream Trailers for 15 years volunteering with Habitat Care-A-Vanners and are looking to add a smaller vehicle (Airstream) for short trips (our 61 Tradewind is 24'). Very interested in yours, have a few questions in ...
